Hi,

I just bought a 2013 370Z :happydance: Pretty jazzed, but I'm already thinking about upgrades. I know I want a less restrictive intake and exhaust ASAP. I work near AAM (only 5 minutes from my office) and am thinking about getting them to install these with a dyno tune:

AAM COMPETITION 370Z S-LINE COLD AIR INTAKES
AAM COMPETITION 370Z 2.5" TRUE DUAL EXHAUST
AAM COMPETITION 370Z 2.5" HIGH FLOW CATS

I see there are a lot of other more popular manufacturers (Stillen, FI, HKS, etc), but AAM seems to be the most cost effective.

Any advice? Any issues with MD emissions tests?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, my guess is about 3300 right there or about 1/3 to supercharge or install bolt-ons. My advice to you as some with 10k+ including suspension mods is save and supercharge unless you are certain this is the end of your performance mods. Those 3 should push you over 310whp after tune.

Think carefully, dont join the i spent 10k for additional 50 whp i should of have just supercharged. Note the truth in my voice as i say that often.

The aam true dual exhaust sits pretty damn low on my car with swift spec r springs. If ur car is or u plan to lower it be aware. I rarely scrape but parking garages, the exits are the main source along with any big dips in the road.

Peace

My advice would be to stop in at AAM and introduce yourself, meet their people and they'll talk with you about what you want to do with your Z and then let you see the shop and the cars they are working on. They have done all my bolt on mods. Hills Garage up near Baltimore is another tuning shop that does Zs and are another option. It all depends on what it is you are looking to get out of your Z and what you want to spend. You'll need a dyno tune if you go with intakes, HFCs and exhaust. I have an 09 so mine was with a Cobb Access Port but 2010 and newer are UPREV. That is an additional cost to consider too. If you throw no CELs there should be no problem with emissions.

let's not forget to advise you to show up at some meets and see what people have done and talk to them about it...

thats exactly my setup except the CAI. AAM couldn't get their act together for a long time so I ended up getting the stillen version. The lowest point on the cbe sits 3" from the ground and I am not lowered at all. So if new coilovers or springs are in mind, you might want to consider a different CBE thats more like the oem version. The cbe was fine all summer then when winter hit I was throwing CELs left and right. AAM did fix the issue for me, no more CELs in summer or winter. AAM cleaned house of employees a year or two ago and while I liked those people, they are a much better company for it now. No I am not including Khoi in that. Khoi is definitely missed at AAM!
