JDM "Slash" red annodized rotor accents - anyone want to buy them?
 

They won't fit my nismo wheels but will fit a sport. Breaks my heart to have to sell them but what can you do, right?

$350 for the set.

Posting here because I'd rather sell them to someone local to make sure they fit before shipping them all over the place.

Whoever ends up with these will probably have the only set in the US.

They don't fit Nismo wheels? Damn. Gotta cross them off my wishlist.

Not sure. The guy at the shop said they would fit (he was wrong). I dropped them off at the mechanic last week since they're still ******* around with the car's tune and asked them to throw them on. They told me the rears "sorta fit" and the fronts "didn't fit at all".

I'm interested, assuming they'll fit my car. Did they give you any details as to why they don't fit on the nismo? I've got a non-traditional setup, base+touring and switch between sports package size wheels (summer) and the base wheels (winter), and sports package brakes.

what color red is it? is it the 40th anniversary brake package red?

The red is pictured in at the top. It's a metallic red.

I swung by Moore with them earlier this week since they were already working on the tune/changing out spark plugs. I asked them to throw them on and was told that the rears "sorta fit" and the fronts "didn't fit at all". I don't have anything more than that which is why I kinda want to sell them to someone local to make sure they fit.

So I dunno what's going on but I'm trying to get to the bottom of it. The rotor caps I have are two different sizes and one pair is way too deep for either rotor set. Shouldn't all 4 be the same size?

Good luck figuring it out! I would like to think he gave you the correct part.

That splash of red will look pretty cool against the black paint.

I hope you can figure out a way for them to fit! If you do go back to trying to sell them I'm going to have to pass. Been spending money way too frivolously recently. that and I'm thinking the two different reds right on top of each other would look strange.

If I can't get them to fit, I'm working with the guy who brought them over to get replacements. He just asked me to take pics of my rotors. If that doesn't work, I have several people interested in buying them.

They're on the car. We had to take the freaking calipers off the front wheels to get them on, but they're on.

Took them off again to powder them. The red metallic aluminum finish A) clashes with the solid red calipers and B) will eventually fade to pink so I sent them off to be powdered to match the calipers. Should look sweet.

I actually found these things on an import broker's site for about what I was going to sell them for if anyone is interested but it's a canadian site so...

Closing this. Powdered them and they are on the car and staying there. I found a place you can import them if anyone is interested.
