Looks like a heat shield for the exhaust.

![]() ![]() You let your girlfriend drive your Z? ![]() After ex #1 curbed my stock rims, ex #2 wrecked my stock side skirt (right side), and ex #3 used my exhaust tips as leverage to get her heavy @ss (she was an arobics instructor) onto my trunk, and ripped my first aftermarket muffler from the heat shield, never again will a woman take charge of my Z. ![]()

I just ripped it off. Talked to a few people that know hondas and she'd have to replace the entire cat if she wanted to fix the heat shield. Just not worth it imo.
