Girlfriend hit something and whatever this housing is came loose. Looks like part of the exhaust but the car isn't any louder. Could be the housing for a catalytic converter...

She's not leaking fluids so the oil pan is safe at least.

You let your girlfriend drive your Z?

After ex #1 curbed my stock rims, ex #2 wrecked my stock side skirt (right side), and ex #3 used my exhaust tips as leverage to get her heavy @ss (she was an arobics instructor) onto my trunk, and ripped my first aftermarket muffler from the heat shield, never again will a woman take charge of my Z.

Heatshield. Rest of it should grind down/rip off if you cruise around fast enough.

I just ripped it off. Talked to a few people that know hondas and she'd have to replace the entire cat if she wanted to fix the heat shield. Just not worth it imo.

My poor '09 Z. I think I literally purchased 3 extra sets of front splash guards on that car because I kept wrecking them. Still hadn't figured RWD out entirely. I had the market cornered on front left 370z splash guards for a while there (because they were only sold in sets).

She wanted me to buy a new cat assembly for the car and I held her by the shoulders and looked straight into her eyes and said, "lol no"

I mean seriously the car is a 2005 with over 130k miles on it. I keep trying to get her to shop for new cars with me but she won't do it.
