Dark Souls 2 has a really cool take on PVP. You can join covenants that guard a specific area and then defend it from invaders (other players trying to play through the game). They'll be trying to clear the area and you get to pop out of the shadows and stab them to death while they're busy fighting rats or zombies or whatever. As you go along you can upgrade the area to make it more difficult to navigate for invaders.

The hatemail I get on XBLA is phenomenal. I had a guy threaten to find where I lived.

In battlefield 4 multiplayer, I managed to kill a guy enough times (~8) to prompt a hate message, you know, the kind that uses more explatives than words to support coherent sentence structure, and then topped off with blurbs questioning your sexuality? That kind.

I found him again sniping way across the map. So I hopped on an ATV and drove straight at him. I ran him over with the ATV and then sent him a message simply saying "Beep beep, b*tch."

I wish I could have been there to witness the dudes rage induced anurysm after he read that.

i'm surprised i havent gotten any on titanfall yet. we were wrecking teams last night. i think the one team while playing attrition (team deathamtch basically) only got like 50 points against us before we ended it lol

I'm getting my feet wet here and there at work but I would not consider myself to be well versed. The guys that are do sit in the office next to me though.

I'm doing the very same. I've installed Ubuntu 13.10 and my wireless adapter isn't enabling. I think it's a driver thing, but I'm trying to stumble my way through getting this updated. :icon14:

So, update.. apparently, it is a matter of Ubuntu thinking that the wireless adapter is switched off, but this particular laptop doesn't have a hardware switch to turn off the wireless adapter. :shakes head:

Andrew, I got the ps4 last friday w/ NO games... :facepalm:

PvP is so much better than in the 1st 2 games. They're gonna have to nerf casters at some point though because if you get into a slugfest with one late/game it turns into dodging lightning spear spam with no hope of ever getting close enough to kill the caster.
