i like because i always want to go on a killing spree when these poorly made discs fail. i've had a few do that and my friends have had discs fail within hours of buying the game.

now with xbox one making you install all games i guess that solves the issue and you can resell the game eventually.

but bright side is i was reading that they are going to start pricing digital downloads cheaper than hard copies of games. i mean it makes sense since there is no actual materials being purchased (i.e. case, manuals, discs) and also you do not have ane trade in/sell ability. well i read microsoft is doing this with xbox not sure if sony has plans on this.

my first xbox360 which i had at midnight day one (nov '05) lasted until my last semester in college which was may '09. thats a awesome run considering the ungodly amount of hours i put in on that machine. it finally died and then i got another which is still alive and i gave it to my sister when the 360S model came out. that is still running at my house as well and is under my xbox one......next to a stack of about 80 games......next to many cords and a game capture device......with a music quality mic......and laptop just for game recording lol

Yeah but the download time in addition to the install time just makes it worse. Unless you start downloading at midnight and don't play till the next day, buying a physical disc will probably be the quicker way to play.

I've played Xbox before, but never owned one. Don't plan on getting one either anytime soon.

the beta was a 5gb download took about 15 min

IIRC Madden was like a 20+ GB download and it took me a couple hours to download. I was able to play like a demo version of the game in that time though.

thats cool..lukcily i havent had any discs fail, I'd be pissed too.

when i downloaded forza it was 40gb and it took about a hour maybe hour and a half. i started it and went out to eat lol

hence why i always pay $3 for a year of disc protection at gamestop :tiphat:

most games dont get played after year since sports games update a year and COD gets a new edition every year etc... lol

Im actually playing Batman Arkham City.. Its pretty sweet.

yea my firned told me that was apretty solid game. never played it myself yet though.

Ahh dude, the games got everyone.. penguin, joker, riddler, bane...etc etc..:p Its good so far.

and COD: ghosts for clan battles. we got some big thing this weekend something called "diamond division" which i didnt even know exsisted lol but i guess when you take 1st almost every week in clan wars you move way up :tiphat:
