Now it's time for me to get back into the Assassin's Creed series before PS4 comes out. Still need to play Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3. Then there's also GTA V coming in 2 weeks :excited: |
I believe thats what they are.. although I have yet to actually have seen one.

Okay, this is kind of cool if you are into this.

On to the 4k topic. I don't know how these consoles are going to do it really. Are they even launching with HDMI 2.0? If not then you will NEVER see 60hz/60fps. Also the consoles at the moment are only pushing full 1080p right now whereas current gen consoles run at a native 720p and have an upscaling processor built in to do "simulated 1080p". I have a feeling that is what we will be seeing but I doubt itll be the 4k aka 3840x2160(its something like that).
Anyways I know for a PC to push 4k it takes at least two high end $400+ gpus. I know that the consoles have the games run direct from the hardware level so there is a huge performance bump there but I just don't see it happening. |
Im with you Cody on this one bro.. so what REALLY is the difference between a PS3 and PS4 besides hardware???

I think they're being marketed as 4K capable or something, but not sure how that's gonna work.

The games will not be in 4k. This time around you get native 1080p for your games. Welcome to 8 years ago on the pc. The consoles are going to be capable of upconverting bluray movies from 1080p to 4K at some point in the future. Consoles are so uninspiring in their design. I get why they do it and all but it really sucks that they never try to push the envelope, just play it safe because their afraid hardware will get too expensive for the masses.
