I went to Bethany last year with the family in mid September and its a completely different world off-season, not to mention its waaaay cheaper and you could barder(sp?) the price. If you all are looking for meat then you want to be there June, July, August. If you're looking to just enjoy the beach and nice weather September is great. There were maybe one or two other small groups on the beach and they were people with children too young for school. Personally I didn't mind because I was with family and wasn't hunting so the beach was clear for good skim boarding and in general very calm and pleasant. I will note that the Russian chicks that come to work at the beach were still around in September so its not a complete loss.

What area are you guys talking about? I might be interested if it's not a ridiculous drive.

I'm in for this so long as we don't stay in Ocean City. Bethany and Dewey are great though. August 17th-24th would be ideal.

Funny, I actually tried to organize a Bethany trip earlier with friends but everyone backed out so I had given up hope of going this year.
I'm also really good at finding places for cheap and organizing these things.

PS if you get 8-10 people to go for the week, the price becomes stupidly cheap. Like $150-200 per-person for the entire week.

Just a weekend? Most beach places rent sat-sat and like I said, it's not expensive.

Yeah that was the original plan. Kinda like an end of summer deal.

Also some people cant take that much time off after already taking a summer vacation. :tup:

If you want to we can do that but I personally wont be able to stay the whole time. Im taking my big vacation in July to go visit some family that is about 800 miles away. But I would still show up for the weekend and stuff.

I'm interested but my attendance would depend greatly on the details. I'm good for a long weekend, don't have the spare time to take a week off. The majority of August I will be out of the country but the first weekend 3rd and 4th could work. After that any time in September would work too except labor day weekend.
