Not necessarily. They are on the list of good handlers, though. The reference is to a C&D comparison that had the Miata, Evo, 5.0, 370, and maybe a couple others in a "Best Handling Under $40,000" feature. This was several years ago. It was the subject of many a sour debate here on the forum.

BRZ/FRS are cool cars. The power level is acceptable as long as you keep the shitty little tires on them. That's what makes them fun. Put real tires on and they get boring fast. All grip and no go.
