I'll consider switching if the price comes down dramatically. Seeing as I already have an uprev license, it would take a lot for me to switch at this point.

For anyone that doesn't have pulleys yet, and has been considering them:

They don't have a flavor for supercharged builds yet unfortunately.

Does your crank pulley size change in an SC build??

Ok re-reading that I think he meant a more "specialized" version of the pulleys he already has but like I said, budget = blown for now. I'll add these to the list.

Even if you went with one of these, the difference in size of the pulley would only effect the Belt size. The # of Rotations would be the same wouldn't it for the SC pulley?

So base HP boost but would not affect the supercharger I guess. I dunno. Again, it's on the list but there are other things I need to do first.

Assuming it's the crank pulley you're talking about changing, yes, it'd affect the SC. Smaller crank pulley = less rotations of the belt. He'd need to go to a different SC pulley to get to the "same" amount of rotations.

But if he just gets a lightweight pulley, not an underdriven pulley, he would be okay correct?

However paired with the Overdriven Alternator pulley, thats matched with the Underdriven Crank pulley, do those not cancel out making the final belt length the same? Just shifting some of the mass to the Alternator instead? I thought that was the point?

Yes, assuming no diameters change, he'd be fine.

But the worthiness of a lightweight pulley is, likely, almost nil...lol. Generally the purpose of swapping to an underdrive pulley is to reduce the amount of energy sent to your accessories.....so why would you then put an OVERDRIVE pulley on your alternator?

The NST Kit includes a 10% Underdrive Crank Pulley along with a 10% Overdrive (faster) Alternator Pulley. This means that the alternator will run at OEM speeds when the NST kit is used. Extra power, torque, and response... no need to worry about a weak battery, dimming lights, or poor a/c performance at idle
From NST, basically, the differences of one pulley are canceled out by the other right? So there's no harm from installing them...

I just posted it in case anyone was thinking about it/on the fence. Especially now that for the GB, they'll offer more colors... Not for the debate of the worthiness of pulleys.

Correct, assuming the total distance the pulley needs to travel is the same, it wouldn't matter.

But, it's also be a big waste of money to simply get colored pulleys lol
