Great road but you weren't kidding about that nut job.

Oh, not sure you know this but napkins are cheap up that way, hope you were able to pick some up. :icon17:

dmhenderson 08-01-2013 08:59 PM

Is that one of the roads up near harpers? That person looks ...very drunk.
I would have called the police.

RandyD 08-02-2013 08:47 AM

Dee - last weekend i drove to Missouri for fun. Stopped at the Beer factory in St Louis, saw some great Indian mounds based on a suggestion from Jon and Pat, visited some wineries, saw the WPAFB Airplane museum which was awesome, and of course drove on a bunch of great roads.

oh and saw lots of corn :)

Yea that's the smurf, and a great price with those wheels.

eastwest2300 08-04-2013 05:24 PM

There was a 240Z LS3 swap at Carlisle this year.

Kirkster 08-05-2013 11:25 AM

Can't do anything like a motor swap.

I can update back date parts so I will be putting a L28E motor in it with an N42 head and switching if from carb to FI with a Megasquirt conversion and E85 fuel... Will get it bored .040 over and any decking I can get done within the rules.

Going to have the motor built by Rebello...

Should be fun...

eastwest2300 08-05-2013 12:19 PM

make it happen duude.

Now that my big trip is done and I am not traveling 200 days a year it is time to start autocrossing again...

So I am building a Street Prepared 240Z...

oh, SCCA rules..

MightyBobo 08-05-2013 03:20 PM

Nice, Kirk - that sounds sweet. Let me know if you want some help, wouldn't mind wrenching on that a bit.

Congrats on the trip, btw.

Yea... well the conversion from Carbs to FI will be an adventure. Will probably be using GM sensors since they are cheap, readily available, and already a know quantity in the MegaSquirt world...

I think most of the fun will be the distributer and timing advance. It will be tuned for E85 also...

Erm, you lost me at "carbs to FI" - you're FI now, you're going carb-ed for the build?

Wait, what motor are you planning on using here?
