Having the filtermag and the magnetic drain plug bolt is a very good combo to have. You have a new car, you'd be surprised the amount of metal shavings will come out on your first couple oil changes from the engine being broken in.

Oh I know you are right, but I haven't seen much of that since I get them done for me. :P Still a great idea though.

Maybe I can just throw a big subwoofer magnet I have laying around under the oil pan? :P j/k

yeah man, but I tell ya, when you actually get up underneath your car and see the engine, its pretty sweet.. its an amazing engine.. when I did my first oil change, I was prettty much in awe. Its definitely one of the nicest engines I had ever seen.

I bet man; maybe one day I will have a driveway that is friendlier for this sort of thing. Once I get my own house built I will even have a garage! :excited:

Yeah man, I've been saving since I started my career after college (~2009/10 after my short stint with Staples right out of college). I have quite a bit saved, but I need a bit more. Even more, I need a slight bump in salary as well. I should see that very soon though as, with my current experience, I'm significantly underpaid for the DC area. We have contract ending soon (with not much to worry about as far as us admins are concerned) so that may be my opening for "greener pastures" if you will. :)

I agree, I'm rooting for Shahid as well! I know EXACTLY how he feels right now!

And as far as the garage, that is one of the biggest reasons for me buying a place. :P

Edit: Also, my folks are looking at moving closer to 495 soon too! AND my mother told me I can have her space in the garage!!! :D I am excite! :excited:

eastwest2300 05-30-2013 02:41 PM

I'd use the garage for obviously parking the cars, BUT I'd love to have a spot to put all my tools, ohhh hell yeah.

Thanks guys! Luckily I still have my parents to help me out with the house payments since they will be living with me.

You should give them a curfew and see how they take it.

Probably with a shoe to my face :icon17:

Though I did tell them that all final house decisions will be made by me, especially if we are customizing a new house. They were terrible with that last time, but they don't havw a problem with that.
