Doing research with MKG and let me tell you, SC builds are retardedly expensive. Like, beyond what they should be.

You should probably talk to Kirk seeing as how he is supercharged.

Keep running into this person playing CS:GO the past few days...
Their name is Jareth...
Keep singing the "Dance Magic" song to them uncontrollable while I proceed to own...
They never say anything in response...
I'm not sure if they get the reference.... or if they are just sour for being destroyed on a nightly basis...

Working with MKG and Moore Auto, I've settled on a build. Pulled the trigger last night.

Moore cut me a freaking fantastic deal on install + tune and I just couldn't say no. Official quote from GTM due in this morning.

Went with:
Stg 1.5 SC tuner kit
black couplers
thermal shielding
red IC powder with GTM logo (logo optional)
Injectors: Injector Dynamics ID1000CC
Fuel Pump: Dearchworks 300

who recommended 1000cc injectors?..

If your Z or any car is lowered, this company is out of Rockville, MD. I could have used this a couple of years ago when I had to have my Z towed for repairs. Executive Auto Transport: 301-946-5412

I'm getting them for next to nothing. Probably overkill but for the price I'm paying, it doesn't matter.

Vicster 05-24-2013 08:38 AM

Yes, but do the carry lollipops? I NEED LOLLIPOPS!

..opps.. sorry... wrong forum...

Very cool! I will need to keep them in mind, especially since I work in Rockville. Thanks Jon!

ID1000's are great injectors, we use them on all of our bolt on GT-R builds, however I think they're going to be quite overkill for your set up..

I'm not too knowledgeable in the F/I realm for your car, but too big of an injector = cruddy idle and possibly running too rich at idle which isn't healthy. 600 or 800cc's are more than enough for "stock block" F/I numbers for that motor

Have you talked to anyone who has the set up on 1000cc's?

dmhenderson 05-24-2013 09:01 AM

No. I didn't realize there would be any harm in overkill because I thought it'd leave room for expansion - was initially going to go with 853s.

Well the idea is right but there is such thing as overkill haha you can only scale down your injectors so much to run stoich (during idle). Scale down too much, your idle becomes poopy

m4a1mustang 05-24-2013 09:16 AM
