Just asking because Im totally C.Neff as well...

This confused me as well but I wasn't sure whether I should ask or not because your answer could have been weird.

I see you are PA ... we had some Neff's in the Coudersport area but most of us are either upstate NY or Finger Lakes area.

They look great. Can't wait to see the updated graphics.

Be over the winter time for the graphics, but I think it will look killer. Silver lines become Gold Chrome and then a Gold Chrome background behind UNITING AGAINST LUNG CANCER ... I hope it will look good anyway.

Haha

All of my Neff clan are here in PA. A lot are in western PA. Oddly enough I did meet a Jason Neff who drives a g35 around my area. Ive met more Neff's thanks to my car than I have for any other reason :driving:

Too cool ... we just had the car up in Olean NY (could throw a rock to PA almost) for a fundraiser in May ... tons of Neff's around. Most of them have alot of memories of Watkins Glen from the early to mid 70's. Us Neff's broke alot of stuff there, including hundreds of yards of perfectly good catch fencing

Sounds like your stock rims just became track meat, to me.

Yes sir. Probably going to sell them tho and get a square setup. I considered getting Mike's but I am not seeing the track again until 2015 and I kind of want a wider tire ... 300 bucks for his stuff was very tempting tho. Will hang onto them for a bit in case the wife says hey when are you going to the race track again LOL

Wifes orders ... pay car off before go out. I can dig that, she also is cool with between now and then getting it safer and better like a roll cage, fixed back seats, 5 point harnesses and all that good stuff. If I win the lottery that would speed things up.

Ah right, I remember now.

Roll cage is a pretty serious investment, be ready for that...

Jesus, what is this - a car hit 60K miles and it falls apart?

I love those old Volvos.

eastwest2300 06-24-2013 09:51 AM

Not every car will go 3 million miles...:icon17:

m4a1mustang 06-24-2013 09:53 AM

Any car will go 3,000,000 miles with proper maintenance.

I miss my parents old 1987 Volvo 740 turbo. Car was an absolute tank. Sold it in 2005 with 170K miles with the original trans, starter. Only thing wrong with it was a small exhaust leak in the turbo manifold :(

I enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting a lot in this department but a lot of the dialogue was cheesy and unimaginative, rifftrax should be really good for this movie. Everything else was excellent though. I thought a lot of the camera angles when they're flying around were really cool and gave some new perspectives that I hadn't seen before. There was a lot of character building at the beginning and then all of a sudden you're thrown right into the main battle basically. There were a few moments where I'd catch something and say to myself oh thats interesting I wonder how that will tie in to the rest of the story and then it was never revisited. Maybe they'll tie these things back in with sequels? Movie was long but I'd go see it again if it was for the IMAX experience.

:tiphat: It was a pain to make that video. It is very hard to record with one hand and try to show what ur doing with the other all while trying to explain what ur doing. I got tongue tied a lot and had to pause to remember what I was saying.

I have to create how to documents/videos for the software I support and its a PITA!!! I always forget to turn something off like email or instant messaging. I'll be just about done with a video and then, BAM, im from coworker talking about nothing important or the phone rings in the middle of dictating directions. its always something!

Lol I feel ya on that. I just kept getting tongue tied and would loose my place. So I would have to pause and think about what I was saying. Then start back again with whatever it was I was talking about. It would have been much easier if someone was recording for me..
