Just don't take him to strip at the school if he wants that. You don't wanna go anywhere near that

Tell him to come out to the next Z meet when I make it down there. We can both run.

His brother in law just told me he's really drunk and looking to pick a fight so I'm going to just assume he's retarded and/or jealous.

He really is a decent guy but his wacky stripper girlfriend left him last year and he's been pretty angry since.

I'm at the very least 3 weeks away from having the supercharger installed. I mean even if I blew this guy's doors off it'd be awkward and sad and racing (legally) for fun is one thing but this guy clearly has more invested in his ride than just having a good time. Not that I don't, but I'm not going to go berserk if I lose.

Some people are just poor losers. Few are in it to have fun anymore.

Also the week that your car is down I recommend NOT watching anything on youtube or movie related to cars. The feels..its hurts so bad haha. Just watched Fast Five...felt I should pass the insight along :tiphat:

To be clear, we're talking about racing at 75-80 where that sort of thing is legal/encouraged.

75-80

Good for you guys! I am not a big drag guy. That is really hard on cars! Clutches, engines and egos are often damaged at drag racing.

Good luck if you decide to do that.

dmhenderson 06-22-2013 01:35 PM

Probably won't - like I said but if I do, it'll be before I upgrade my clutch. I'll be lucky if I get 6 months out of it when the SC goes in.

But once you put one of those after-market clutches in there, that should last a lot longer, right? I have not researched an SC kit and all the peripherals that go along with the upgrade. I think I'll stick with NA for this Z. I say that now, but once I see you step away from me, I may say "I want one!!!! ". :bowrofl:

I finally had to fix my first blown bike tire.

I feel like I've popped my bicycle cherry.

It'll be the next thing I do.

Edit: Starting to read up on clutches. Looks like South Bend or JWT have a more durable (slightly heavier) clutch/flywheel offering for FI cars.

Did it cause a worse situation when it went? I had a front tire on our tandem go out suddenly at 15+ mph leading into a turn, ended up in the grass against the embankment. No injuries (to us or the bike)but my Wife was not to happy since she was "along for the ride".

What kind of bike do you ride, mountain or road? I'm thinking a out getting a recumbent and selling my Santana tandem and my Marin racing bike.

Masa 06-22-2013 03:59 PM

Did a test fitment of my new setup today to make sure I had plenty of clearance with the brakes. Can't wait to have them on. :yum:

Negative. Didn't even realize it was down til I got home. Good sized chunk of glass found it's way into my tire.

I own a Specialized Sirrus Sport. Nothing fancy, but it does me well...

Yeah man, it was a great day!

Crazy thing on my way home tonight; while on 495 just after getting off 95, I changed lanes from behind someone in the fast lane doing like 70 and gave it a little push just to kinda get ahead of some traffic but very quickly dropped back down to 70...when suddenly I see a car FLY up behind me - had to be doing a good 90. The car gets right on my ***, and I figured to myself, maybe this person thought I was going to really take off. Well, they probably did - suddenly I got the spotlight! I was like..oh ****...but I just kept driving along because no lights. When there was a break to the right, MDST move to the right and takes off then takes the next exit. **** was wild...
