Its a bean can to go with the fart tube :roflpuke2:

but seriously. Itll be better next week when we actually have proper sized hardware.

Also that knob could be very james bondish. We could cut the top and make it removeable and you could store change in it! Hide all your monies in your shift knob. Also Adjustable weighted shift knob? YOU TOO JELLY.

Update for you guys. We've started making Shift knobs. First one fabbed up today under Pat's hand. He did a test knob with 2". I call it the superman shift knob. Ill be buying some 1.5" next week for fabs since the 2" is stupid huge. Also Powder Coating services are going to be available very soon. Let me know if you want anything done.

I may want the cabin strut/brace (whatever that thing is) powdered some time in the near future. Question is, how hard is it to get out of the car?

Compared to doing a turbo kit? Not too bad lol. We can do it. Were hunting for ovens at the moment.

Fun fact: Montgomery County police now have murdered out SRT-8 Charger police cars. I found this out the hard way earlier at lunch.

Supercharger being installed starting 7/29. Moore wants an entire week with the car because they want to take it slow and document everything (which is fine by me). I'm gonna take off that Monday and head to fairfax with Cliff from Daedalus Customs who wants to be there when they take the headlights off of the car - just to be safe.

dmhenderson 06-19-2013 03:30 PM

Final install "kit":
GTM 1.5 SC, red IC powder, black couplers
GTM racing oil cooler and thermostat
Deatschwerks 300lph fuel pump (Cody/Pat's suggestion)
Injector Dynamics 845cc injectors (Cody/Pat again)
Black mesh grille from Metrorestyling (Cody)
Several Honda Civic TYPE-R badges and 1 enormous VTEC sticker.
Undecided on gauges right now. I really like Kirk's setup. One small digital multigauge and hidden modules.

Should have it ready for the meet on 8/3

dmhenderson 06-19-2013 03:38 PM

Anyone need my stock injectors or fuel pump? If not I'll post them up on facebook & the for sale forum

I thought you went with my ID1000 injector recommendation? Did moore change it?

Both Moore and several others said 1000cc injectors were too much for this build unless I was swapping out fuel lines to run E85 or w/e

Sales@AAMComp 06-19-2013 04:45 PM

haha if you were on budget you could even use stock gt-r injectors :p I think they're like 560-570cc

RandyD 06-19-2013 04:45 PM

drat - i was gonna use this excuse...

7NEWS - Driver says he was speeding so he could dry car - News Story

dmhenderson 06-19-2013 04:52 PM

Not so much an excuse as the truth - officer asked me why I was speeding today and I said "I was trying to get around you"

Lol alrighty. I guess future proofing is stupid :bowrofl: I have a lot to say on that but Ill keep it short.

Your injectors will cap you at like 420-440whp roughly if you ever deceide to run E85..What if you want more power? Just hope you run 93octane full time. I just know how that thirst for more power goes.lol

dmhenderson 06-19-2013 05:22 PM

They cost the same. Any downside to running the 1000cc?

Check the pic...all the proof you need

80% is really the max safe I would like to see run.
.88 is the burn rate of E85 on a boosted application.

dmhenderson 06-19-2013 05:39 PM

So yeah looking like 1000cc make more sense unless there's a drawback I'm missing.

we've tuned numerous FI DE's and HR's to near 600whp and none of them have and/or need 1000cc's, or anywhere close to that size. Just saying

Will the cars perform yes. Will they make the power yes. Is it recommended to max your injectors no. That's my stance. He can get away with it the 850s. but he will be going over 80% duty cycle at 600hp which isn't safe and then it turns into him running fuel pressure regulators and stuff. What duty cycle are they running at? And did anyone pick up on what DM said? They are practically the same price. Also GTM confirmed with Mark about a month ago if he wanted E85 or more power he should look at 1000+.
Are my calculations wrong? I thought math formulas were kinda constant :ugh2:

PS not trying to argue or be a ****. Just trying to check my info and make sure im not living a lie here.lol
