I just discovered my first trade error of 2013.

But it actually made the client money. :|

I like that he went with a non-standard red. The color is beautiful in the sunlight! The interior is spectacular as well. I'll see if I can't post some more pics soon. These were just ones I took on my phone, not the ones I took with the camera I had, I'll download those soon.

Just found this on reddit and it made me laugh a little:

The people who spout them are the loudest, the most repetitive, and usually the kind of people who spend all their time posting on web forums. Nothing but the most expensive, or the oldest, or the rarest, or the biggest pain in the *** will possibly do, and if you aren't doing it that way, you don't know what you're talking about and you aren't really trying. Over time, these people develop a lot of influence over web communities, and as a result opinions get pushed farther and farther to the extremes.

I've seen kids repeatedly **** up great motorcycles trying to add some part or tweak something because some ******* in Bumfuck told them the should. Seen kids sell great guns and buy some stupid, nearly-unusable foreign ******** because if you aren't using this weird-*** caliber, you just aren't serious. Seen people quit photography altogether because if you aren't carrying $10K in gear around your neck, and another $10K in the bag you never use, then you might as well give it up.

It's all ********, it's all stupid, and it's all frustrating as hell to watch.

That is only an error if the other trade made more money. Otherwise it is Winning...

Unfortunately it still qualifies as an error.

I spent my Father's Day morning helping a friend of mine shuttle some of his cars to a Father's Day event at my church. I drove the '67 Corvette 427 Stingray over to the event and then switched with another guy and he drove the 'Vette back and I drove the '66 Mustang Shelby GT 350 back from the event. It is SOOOOOO different driving those cars over the Z! The technology then was great for the time, but the steering was "relaxed", the brakes were a handful, the gearing was such that they would rev at about 4k at 60 mph. I loved the experiences of driving each of those cars though...

I included some modern stuff that we took over there as well. His 2006 Aston Martin Vantage and his 2013 458 Spider. I have driven the Aston and it is an awesome GT car. The 458 is still on the list to go for a ride in soon. I doubt I will ever drive that one.

If your buddy needs anymore friends :hello:

All of you guys with 6MTs... remove the helper spring ASAP. I can feeeel again.

Completely off topic and falling within the realm of totally useless information related to the all powerful OZ. Patricia mentioned something to me after the past MD meet about how the after market Z emblem some folks are rocking looks just like the OZ symbol from the original L. Frank Baum series of books.

I had to go check and sure enough they are very similar. Specifically, when you look at many of the illustrations that accompanied the series of books, particularly, "Ozma of OZ" and others, you'll see the familiar to us Z symbol.

Here is the front emblem:

Yes. The stupid spring that makes the clutch easy to press but removes all feedback.

Read: http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...er-spring.html

It's so easy, a caveman could do it.

Couldn't agree more.

I removed the entire assembly and the clutch feel SIGNIFICANTLY improved. It feels exactly like my Honda Civic Si now. You can feel pressure from the pressure plate - it gets rid of that annoying stutter/shaking when you let the clutch out too fast. It even eliminates clutch chatter now since you know exactly where the engagement point is.

It takes all of 3 minutes to do, just need needle nose pliers and a flat head screwdriver.

These are parked outside of my building right now.

Every year these Mercs come around for some big golf event that happens here in Rockville.
