Ani may be jealous that you enjoyed me in person...

Never said it was WRONG...if you wanted colored, lightweight pulleys, then you got colored, lightweight pulleys. However, if your goal was to gain power from it...then you'd need to ditch the overdrive pulley and stick with just the underdrive pulley.

Seeing as you have messed with your audio system a bit, I wouldn't recommend this, btw.

When I have another car to DD and the Z will just be fun car, I will be pulling the stereo out. And I've kept my OEM pulleys (I believe??) for the potential of reinstalling them at a later date, or at least the OEM Alternator pulley... I'll just need to get a shorter belt.

And just since you think I'm just :crying: lol Here:

What Bobo doesn't like about my car:

ALL Suspension: Didn't learn to drive car on OEM Suspension first to find what/where I wanted(needed) to change.

Understandable, but this is what I didn't have before were places to find out where/what to do and someone to explain to me things.

Brakes: Doesn't like the Cross-drilled/Slotted rotors and believes in just slotted or solids.

I will agree to that one, but since mine isn't full race car, I went for some aesthetics too.

Fluids: Switching out brake fluid in < 1 year intervals :bowrofl:

Ok, I was just going off of what I read on here. Bad info.. :icon17:

The Wing: Worthless and useless.

It is NOT dammit! I needz downfoarce! :inoutroflpuke:

Doesn't mean you HAD to go and buy it before you learned lol

Nothing wrong with quality drilled/slotted for the street. We've talked about this.

I know, it's just fun because you are SO firm in your ideas and thoughts. So it can come off as if someone does something you don't agree with, or wouldn't do yourself, they're dumb. :icon17:

I know you mean well, I just wish I had someone like you or Steve local in AZ when I started out to learn from.

We made it back from Seattle. Weather was nice! Got to see my Son graduate from High School in the Tacoma Dome with honors. Got all three through HS and now getting ready for this one to head to college.

So, looks like some rides have changed in the MAZOC. Congrats to Greg/Laura and Jay on their new rides. I see that Black cars continue to make gains in our little group!

I'll see whoever at Hyperfest on Saturday!

Live and learn. The good news is you didn't buy crap parts, so you're fine. You just have to get everything set up correctly.

You could see through the slots on the front, and the very yellow solid hood underneith was there, plain as day.

Also, dead bug carcasses that collected in there.

I think you will find, that the most knowledgable people on the board made the most mistakes when they first got into the scene.

Usually due to being mocked lol

Besides, EVERYONE does ricer crap when they start...it's that phase between, "I know EVERYTHING!" and, "OK, OK! I get it - I'll shut up and listen, now" that proves to be difficult for many :-p

I started out as a young ricer with a V6 Mustang. Didn't know sh1t. Now I know a ton and can do anything as long as I have the tools to do it.

Pretty sure this is the best way to learn. You pretty quickly find out what is good and what is well...not so good.lol

It's also good just to read. There is a ton of information out there. The hard part is separating the filth from the good stuff. Usually it's pretty easy to determine who knows what they are doing and who doesn't, though.

I've found if you do turn to someone for guidance, you can't be hard-headed or stubborn.

When I learned the most on LS1Tech, is when I shut up and just listened and read what people said. I was asking dumb questions, and making stupid assumptions for a long time.
