Alright, so I picked up about 7 HP and 12 torque to the wheels with the tune. Peak numbers weren't what anyone thought (and admittedly, even I was aiming high.) Likely due to 1) less HP from mods than anticipated, 2) higher drivetrain loss than anticipated, 3) a factor of both.

Likely, the answer was #3. Ended up with 370 WHP/362 torque in the end, which is right where it should be. Some more research yielded some mild cam cars that havent even broken 400 WHP, so I didnt feel bad.

Butt dyno approves of the tune - power band feels much smoother and responsive.

I guess the old mantra "there's no replacement for displacement" isn't really valid in this case...

Definitely lower numbers than I would have guessed. Then again your car weighs as much as Steve's cat.

I guess you'll have to hit their dyno as well, so we can get an idea how much less you have.

Jk, it is a load bearing dyno, so I'd compare it to a Mustang dyno. And in the end, who cares: it's just another dyno :-p

If my car is going on the rollers again (which it will soon) it's gonna be at Moore to see what the Steeda tune actually gave me at the rear wheels since that's where I got my baseline

Well that just gives me more excuse fuel. "It was a different dyno!". " the weather was different that day! ".

Chris is super talented. You'll do well there I'm sure. They had a viper on the dyno last time I was up there.

So I've managed to grow scorpion peppers. I just ate one and I'm not quite sure whether I'll live or not yet. Who wants one? I'm going to make chili and a wing glaze out of them

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinidad_moruga_scorpion

To give you an idea, military grade pepper spray is about 2,000,000 Scoville

These peppers range from 1,500,000 to 2,000,000.

Seriously

Oh god it hurts

Edit: co have made a huge mistake. If I could claw my own tongue out, I would

Edit2: I have been sucking on a piece of bread for about a half hour now. It hurts a little less but I think the taste buds on 1/2 of my tongue are gone.

I might try a bit of the chili or wing glaze if you want to share, but I will not eat the pepper by itself.

So, I was going on the urban legend that some of the hottest peppers can kill. Snopes put an end to that for me. One pepper won't do it. But I liked this article...

Can you die from eating the world's hottest pepper
