Anything to this? Does the AT have a final drive gear with a better ratio or something? This doesn't make much sense to me.

I think there may be some differences between the diffs but can't recall.

RZ, Doesn't the manual have the 3.69 FD gear? Which is "better" for the Z, which pushes them to go for the 4.08 gear? But I guess that's mainly for drag cars right?

So any thoughts on the bearings/seals? Any reason I should replace? Someone (I forget who) had told me I need to when I do the LSD swap but didn't say why. I mean the car is less than 2 years old.

Best practice is to replace the bearings and seals. You can reuse, but since you're going to be in there anyway, you should just go ahead and replace them. Especially since the car is two years old now.

Drive into the office was fine! (I drove the wife's crossover though ;) ) I wasn't willing to try the Z in this weather. I doubt I'll drive it again until Wed.

that 2 hour work delay was well received wasnt it?

Hey Dee.

Oh, I found two bottles of Honda coolant in my garage. I bought them for the S2k but obviously don't have them anymore. If you could use it let me know, I can bring it to the next meet we both attend.

I took the Z out yesterday while it was snowing. Only 1-2 inches of snow/slush/slop in the road but it was fine.

Today the roads were pretty clear so there were no issues. I left a little later in case there was some icing.
