In all honesty it's not that bad, you just have to keep up with it.

You know how frequently I wash my car, so probably not an issue at all anyway :icon17:

I just drove around with my wheels powdercoated in brake dust :icon17:

I wash the car once a week so it probably wouldn't be that bad I guess.

The Adams DWC works great too. Love the stuff. Don't even really need to use a brush if you don't want to, good water pressure after about ~5 minutes of soaking will take 95% of it off.

I have the same brake pads set up and they are still on the car, too lazy to swap them out.

Well i had the last track event... then i came down to FL for work. I ended up having to drive it to base a few times (jeep broke on me). going 10mph for 40 miles in stop and go traffic was horrible lol. think i pissed off everyone around me.

so its still kinda sitting at home... somewhat broke lol

I hear you, I went for an oil change two weeks ago, when I pulled and stop, everybody looked at like wtf dude, you need brakes.......lol.....noise doesn't bother me at all, it's just the compound that stick on the wheels is hard to take off. Some won't come off. Other than that, I love Carbotech pads.

Welp, tires ordered for the Z. Turns out the PSS 305 is really around a 315 which is just way too much on a 10" rim. Went 265/285 instead which should naturally dial out some understeer. Big front sway bar is going to help a lot with that as well. This car needs all the front grip it can get!

I'm looking forward to it. I'll probably put the MAZOC prep thread up in January. Have a few things to run by you and Steve. :tiphat:

Registration doesn't open until 1 January so that works out fine. This give folks something good to think about in the cold time of the year. I'm anxious to get back to ZDayZ.

How do the 265s fit? I'm thinking really heavily about a square 275 setup.

From the looks of it they fit well. It's a very popular setup with the RE11s on the stock rays and should be good with the PSS, which run wide.

I thought about a 275/35 square setup but don't really want to fit the widest-spec on the front and the smallest-spec on the rear. That's going to lead to some funky sidewall behavior. I'm actually running 245 square on my winter wheels (base 18x8 and 18x9s) and don't particularly like the feel... the front sidewall rolls a lot more than the rear does. 265/35 and 285/35 should have roughly the same sidewall behavior front and rear.

With the power you have I'd want to run more rear tire. 265/285 RE11s would probably be pretty good, however you might need more rear tire yet. 265/35 305/30 RE11s work fine, but you would need to work to get your balance closer to neutral (front/rear bar, alignment, etc).

I think ideally I would run a 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. :icon17:
