The name is MAZOC! I joined it because I thought it was Z owners ! I did not join it because of "mutual strokers"!
Hey be honest! Is this a Z club or a click? No hurt no fowl, but be honest! Is it a Z club or a "click"... Let me know so I can move on to a true Z loving/owner group , or at least start a new club! I wish all well with your new toys but if you ain't a Z owner, you are bogus!

Maybe it's a bit of both.

But it definitely sounds like a club that kicks you out for selling your Z is the best fit for you...

Red__Zed 08-17-2016 07:08 PM

I for one support the creation of MAAZOC (mid-Atlantic Actual Z Owners Club). We can meet across the parking lot and make fun of the guys that don't have the dedication to keep a car for 6 years.

I came across a few of your posts while doing research on the .org site. :driving:

The Z family has always been about the people first.

I owned two Z's before I bought my 35. I think what this guy really wants is ownership of MAZOC and what he doesn't know is that the club belongs to Steve and not the370z.com. There's no "torch" to pass. If Steve gave you MAZOC, it'd be you alone because the rest of us wouldn't follow. Might as well start your own club.

You might also consider that many of us still love the Z. Hell, my Nismo's plate still sits on a shelf in my den along with my show trophies and shift knob. There's a huge wealth of knowledge here about that platform you're going to miss out on by kicking out people simply because they don't own the car anymore. We've had everything from DIY single turbo builds using ECU SW no one had really even tested yet to bizarre supercharged E85 money pit builds. We know these cars inside and out. We've heard every exhaust, tried every tire, know what will fail under warranty and when. Don't write us off.

Oh hey didn't see this gem:

You know what's bogus? Some jerkhole who comes into a private forum and starts demanding things and hurling insults. Get lost. No one here was rude to you (until now). You're kind of a ****. Please go.

Oh and it's "no harm, no foul" not fowl (a fowl is a bird)
and "clique" not "click"

hth

Amen.

Hell, I still help people with their DIYs on the Z because of my experience with it. Guess that makes me bogus, though. :rofl2:

Masa 08-18-2016 07:10 AM

Pfffft. I still have my Z, you guys are just not hardcore enough.
Get on muh level!

My mechanic still has nightmares about my last car. I stay in touch with the new owner. He had the fuel system die on him last night and called me to ask if I knew what caused it (I don't). Funny, I still get anxious when he tells me it has a problem.

Unfortunately I'm going to be out of town Fri-Tue, so it would have to be the weekend after :(

m4a1mustang 08-22-2016 02:16 PM

I suppose if you wanted to see it during the week I could take it to my office in Tysons to make the drive from G-burg more bearable.

No pressure, though. There's a lot of bike-fish in the sea.

And there's no worry of relying on Steve to catch one for you :bowrofl:

m4a1mustang 08-22-2016 08:38 PM

Anna I do have one guy coming to look at it this week, pretty sure he's buying.

aniceh 08-23-2016 02:40 AM

Do what you gotta, man. If you have someone giving full asking price, go for it. If for some reason you think it won't pan out, I'd be very interested to see the bike, but if it does, I'm just glad you got your sale.

m4a1mustang 08-23-2016 07:35 AM

Have you given much thought to what exactly you want? Or how much you want to spend? Curious to see if mine even makes sense for you.

aniceh 08-23-2016 10:21 AM

Only a little. Cruiser style isn't my preference, but it's the easiest for me to ride and I'm trying to be practical. Budget-wise, I was figuring $4k or under. Yours may not be the best for me, but if time permits I'd be interested to check it out. If you sell it before I can, though, that's awesome!

See I'm like you. I don't like cruisers. No sense in getting one if it isn't your style.

That said, check out the new Vulcan S. It's over budget, but maybe you can find a used one. It's the sportiest cruiser I can think of, and they have the Ergo fit system which makes the bike work for short, average, and tall riders.
