That's awesome man! Where is he going to school?

falicfr 01-11-2016 10:41 AM

Congrats man. I know how proud you are of him. Give him my congrats also.

Looks like he is going with Howard University DC... Oh that commute & parking is terrible , but apartments there cost a bundle.

Ouch. I commuted to UMD for my undergrad and I do not miss it even one bit. I'm doing my Masters at Johns Hopkins, so I figured there was a slight chance we would be going to the same school. Very difficult to get in there for med school though.

Unfortunately they'll let just about anyone in to their engineering grad programs :p

After talking with Bobo at the last meet we thought a "MAZOC" FB group may be a nice thing to have, so I started one up. Follow the link and click "Join" to become a member.

If anyone has any ideas on posts for it, or photos go ahead and post up! Share any car events you may be going to, cruises you may be going on, etc.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1039570782761395/

VABAM 01-13-2016 09:25 AM

Isn't there already a FB page for MAZOC?
Link doesn't work for me so I searched for it.
FB search brings up 3 FB pages.

MAMotorsports 01-13-2016 09:48 AM

There is a "Page" but no interactive "Group" where people can post.

Its under "Mid-Atlantic 370Z Owners Club" and labeled a "closed group"

We registered for ZDayZ today so Pat and I are good to go. We'll be traveling down early on Sunday the 15th of May (ZDayZ is 19-22 May). There should be a thread up for the event posted in the near future for MAZOC planning purposes.

Z Days 2016

Hello Jon and others. I'm ready to go. I'll register as soon as I finish here. Also headed down on Sunday and hoping to caravan. Look forward to seeing everyone soon at a Columbia meet. Missed you the last six months - moved to Ocean City in August and it's been hard to get up here. Regards, Dave

b1adesofcha0s 01-17-2016 01:02 PM

Would anyone be interested/available to go out to dinner in DC/NoVA Tue/Wed/Thur night this week? Our good friend Mr. eastwest will be back in town. Trying to see if I can get a group together.

eastwest2300 01-17-2016 01:30 PM

come on fellas come out, just for dinner, an hour to an hour and a half at most, I talked to blades, and we think doing dinner at around 830ish on any given night would keep us out of the gridlock of traffic.. I won't have a car, so I can meet up with you guys in Maryland or VA preferably near a metro stop, there's some really good restaurants in Rockville if thats in the middle for everyone.

eastwest2300 01-17-2016 01:31 PM

It be nice to see you falkers, its been 4 months...

EmilZ 01-17-2016 01:46 PM

I'm off Thursday's if you guys wanna meet up. In in NOVA hint hint. Lol.

Thursday it is! (I'm just kidding, we can do a consensus, but thursday would definitely work for me!)

eastwest2300 01-17-2016 03:03 PM

Lets seriously do a steakhouse... but if the steakhouse isn't near a metro, I'll need a ride.. :icon17:

As long as they have some seafood option, that's fine with me. Any place you had in mind?

hell no brother, just something better than outback steakhouse... even Logan's steakhouse is really good, and not too terribly priced.

eastwest2300 01-17-2016 04:21 PM

Logan's Roadhouse
12821 Fair Lakes Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22033

Just a thought.

http://logansroadhouse.com

Any other steakhouses, I'm not sure of.

eastwest2300 01-17-2016 04:24 PM

Miller's Rockville Ale House
1471 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852

This place has REALLY good reviews.

http://www.millersalehouse.com/locat...ille-ale-house

I was checking out the menu, this place looks like its the SH!T.

b1adesofcha0s 01-17-2016 06:40 PM

Either of those places are fine with me

eastwest2300 01-17-2016 08:15 PM

man, lets do this thing man..

Logans has a 22oz steak... thats fricken amazing, but the other place looks like it has phenomenal appetizers...

EmilZ 01-17-2016 08:25 PM

+1 for Logan's. You get to throw peanuts on the floor. I'm always down for messes I don't have to clean!

I think I'm gonna go with this place. Rockville should be an easier drive for the folks coming from MD. Going to put up a thread in a couple mins and I'll post the link once it's done.

Thread is up
