me too man. its just crazy. Im just glad I got to hang out with him before I left the area.. we always had such a good time together, and he was a heck of a cook, you boys missed out if you didn't make it to our BBQs, wow he could really throw it down on the grille.

I think of JPKIRK, and I honestly can't help but smile, and just be grateful for all the nice things he's ever done for me. Im soo grateful, and it just hurts my heart knowing he's not here anymore.

Can't believe it. He was a great guy. :usa:

eastwest2300 11-02-2015 08:10 PM

I can tell you one thing guys, JPKIRK loved his Z, he was like a kid in a candy store, you get him talking about his Z, his eyes would light up, and the smile would come out, and he was just full of life.. And ANYONE in MAZOC that knew him would agree with me 1000%, this is the truth!

KoolKarmaJoe 11-02-2015 08:20 PM

My condolences to Jim's family. I'm deeply saddened.

Thinking about Jim

Such sad news. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jim's family.

I think about the times we met, and he was always smiling. Interested in what others were doing with their Z, and willing to help in any way he could. He loved talking about autocross and how "bad" he was at it... but looking at his videos showed that he was doing well at it and learning quickly. He will be missed by MAZOC and others I'm sure. I know I will miss seeing him at our meets.

RIP Jim

ZCarMan 11-04-2015 05:44 PM

I'm just learning of the passing of Jim Kirk. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. What a great guy who loved ZCars and was always showing up for meets just to say hey. He will be missed greatly. Two MAZOC members in one year is hard to fathom.

mishuko 11-05-2015 09:58 AM

RIP... had a few conversations and he was always adding insightful thoughts on his posts.

haven't talked to him as much but everytime he was a stand up guy... such a loss for our community, his friends and family.

My condolences.

Hope he's tearing up that tarmac in heaven with his Z!

Hey does anyone know if it's time to kick in some bucks/dues towards MAZOC Membership?I know winter is coming, but darn I can't help but look forward to next MAZOC Picnic. That was a nice spot last picnic. And I sure did enjoy cooking alongside JpKirk. I'd definitely am looking forward to sharing a toast & good food in honor of JpKirk with fellow members.

There aren't any membership fees for MAZOC. Everything is done and provided by our awesome members voluntarily! Best way to help out is returning the favor by offering to help with events, bringing food to the BBQ, etc.

Yeah, she wanted a little more get up and she really liked the look. It handles pretty much like the Fiesta ST but its definitely got more get up and go.
