That's why I'm never gonna buy a car that doesn't come with a seat heater already equipped. Ain't nobody got time for all that.

Well I moved most of my stuff and will be in the AO Friday :) Internet/cable going in on Friday I went with FIOs. So they told me 50/10 up/dn speeds. First order of business is a shop that can repray my hood. Suggestions?

Anyone have any input as to Pro's / Con's of vehicle wraps? My front bumper is chewed to sh*t from kicked-up road gravel. I have a few other spots that just set me crazy. I was thinking of going with complete Stillen Body Kit, and then get custom wrap entire car. Leaning towards a Led Zepplin Theme for the wrap.

Much cheaper than a full and proper paint job and protects the original paint with the benefit of being removable. Downside is that there will probably still be areas that show the original paint color (underneath the hood, around the door frame on the interior, underneath the hatch, etc.) and that might look a little weird.

Thanks for input. I've decided to wrap my Z in Led Zepplin 1 cover album. Silly to some, but makes perfect sense to me!

Another downside is that it is still rather expensive. You're looking at probably 2-3 grand for it, I believe...and maybe more, since you want something custom like that, and not just a flat color.

Hey fellas, I did NOT have a CSC failure or any sort of mechanical problem.

I replaced the CSC with the zspeed HD CSC as a preventative measure. I also went with a Southbend Stage 2 clutch, a Southbend billet flywheel, a new CMC, and a stainless steel clutch line.

Running redline fluid in the trans case, and RBF600 in the clutch reservoir.

I also just got my RJM in the mail today.. I'll be doing the install some time this week hopefully before the BBQ.

Thanks ...

Still middle of the pack. Vast improvement over the first time though. More driving and better tires (RE-71) will improve the process. I was way wide on at least two of the turns, both off camber. I need to get a bit more confidence in the capability of the car as well. I think I could have carried more speed through the first turn and through the beginning of that slalom. The slalom got tight there towards the end.

I wasn't going to analyze, I did see you very wide those times though. Still, not bad!

It's looks crazy, but looking at the pic's & reading about the cooling effect it caught my attention. It works with OEM air Filter boxes as well as Typhoon's Aftermarket Intakes. (pic). I was thinking of using the same premise to re-direct cool air on transmission/clutch lines.

Oh yes, I remember looking at this thread a long time ago.

Fang brake cooler

I used the fang area for the front brake ducting kit from Stillen. It worked great and I considered it more valuable to me that the transmission cooling would have been. Just my .02.

Thank you for the info! That makes sense. I guess I'm still a little fearful of clutch hydraulics failure after my OEM CSC failure. Since that failure I went and replaced CMC, went with Z1 HD CSC, Z1 insulated clutch line, ACT Clutch Kit, & ACT Streetlite flywheel.

Yeah thats what people normally do, from what I've seen. Brakes = very important. :icon17:

LOL! I'm breaking him & my Car Insurer in gently, if you know what I mean, haha. He's only had his license 6 months, and being a resident of Baltimore City really raises the cost to insure him.

Oh I took him Formula Karting while at the beach. And he demonstrated to me he's got a real "heavy foot". His idea of a car is any V8 mustang, or as he told me, " Wow dad those old AMX & Javelins are really cool too, so are those Super Bee's" ..... Yeah I'm sure !

Why not enroll him in the driving class at summit point?

He's heading back to Westminster in about week. Moving in new dorm, starting new job on campus, & getting ready for start of new school year. That might be something I could line up for him during his Spring break. I'm sure he would like it.
