Catch & release. We'll be targeting large mouth bass for the most part and they really don't taste very good at all. Not to mention it's a big to-do to keep them fresh and bring them back to clean them.

Sscottfitz 05-04-2015 05:24 PM

Personally, I'm a "catch & release" kind of angler, but I can't speak for Steve T. With the exception of the fish that don't TASTE like fish, I'm mostly a red meat & chicken kind of guy....... But they sure are fun to catch........

With sport fish like LMB and SMB I definitely take the catch & release approach. Not to mention around here most of the lakes and rivers are polluted to such a degree that you don't want to be eating what comes out of them anyway.

Now, if I know the water is clean then fish like bluegill and crappie taste really good!

Sscottfitz 05-04-2015 05:43 PM

YOU KNOW, you bring up a good point........ I've not really focused on what the crappie fishing on Fontana is going to be like next week, but I have some crappie lures, and what I don't have we can probably pick up at the marina....... Yeah, THAT'S THE TICKET!.....Yeah Of course someone has to clean'um....... I have the tools........:stirthepot:

I haven't gone crappy fishing in a long time but when they are on they are on! I know they really like structure and you can get a ton with a bobber and live minnows. :icon17:

b1adesofcha0s 05-04-2015 07:11 PM

Hard to believe something named crappy would taste good :icon17:

Crux 05-04-2015 07:26 PM

Panfish are laaaaaaaameeee. Now snakehead...

Too bad snakehead are borderline overfished here. Guys are bowfishing them at night. Apparently if you shine a light on them, they freeze like deer in headlights. Cheaters.

m4a1mustang 05-04-2015 07:46 PM

Snakehead are evil!

Crux 05-04-2015 07:55 PM

Tasty too.

Terrible GTR Nismo crash on the ring this past March. One killed unfortunately in the crowd.

No kidding. On a positive note, that wing was sturdy enough to keep the GTR from flipping completely over apparently.

I am mostly going to DC region events getting ready for the Pro Solos. Most of the local events are at FedEx Field. Am going to the Wilmington Pro Solo in Ohio in a couple of weeks. Then to the Toledo OH Pro Solo and then back to Wilmington for my third ProSolo and finally Off to Nebraska for the Pro Solo Finally and Nationals... Should be a fun year and then it will be time for body work on the old girl this winter...

So they put a sport bike faring on the R1200 and called it a RS... Looks nice, but I have to wear out my current one.

Say hi to my friend in Nebraska (John Hunter). He instructed me at Autobahn Raceway, years ago. Dude's amazing. He'll know me by "Bobo" :-p

A little more than that, but that's the most of it. Gets the new more powerful motor and some other goodies like cruise control and whatnot. I just like the new look, mainly. Still enjoy my bike :-p

Asheth 05-17-2015 09:51 PM

Nice I been talking to Joe at Zspeed about the undershroud on my 15 nismo conversion probably going to buy one this week. My stock one is about to go I think. I've been good though I wasn't doing to well a week ago but feeling better now. I'll probably be going to import week in OC on the 12th of June.

jpkirk 05-18-2015 09:25 AM

I think most of the guys are probably still recovering from ZdaysZ.

I was BBQing 245 pounds of pork shoulders this last weekend at church. So yea, I DID have fun. Just not with the Z.

m4a1mustang 05-18-2015 01:25 PM

If you haven't been to ZDayZ you really need to put it on your to do list. I know some people shrug it off because they think they are above driving on back roads and partying with good people (you know who you are), but you really need to come down and experience it for yourself.

MAZOC had a ******* pig roast for crying out loud. So good. :yum:

Agreed and I can't wait till the next one. Even got a ride in a Gallardo Superleggera, C7 Z06 Hyper Train, and GT-R. Yet the most exciting ride was Mike who led the morning Dragon runs. That man can drive fast :driving:

Forsberg's drift car was freaking insane in person. We were right next to it when it launched at the exhaust competition.
