I went last week to see Steve run on Sunday. It's actually a lot of fun just hanging out in the paddock, taking photos, chatting with other enthusiast, etc etc. Good times plus it doesn't cost anything to spectate

That's what I'm talking about, low budget. The question is track access to shoot. When I did the SCCA Championships at Mid-Ohio we were associated with a team and had primo track access. Resutled in shots like ...

Formula Atlantic Mid-Ohio approaching the keyhole

That would be way cool :happydance:

Can't make any commitments that far out. Might be looking to get rid of The Z around then, so I'd prefer something sooner. Definitely won't be ready to take a C7 on track at that point.

haha thanks! In regards to track access, I don't think they allow anyone inside the fence during these events for photos. At bigger sanctioned show/events you can inquire for a media pass

Yea we tried that initially at Mid-Ohio. Went over like a lead balloon. Team association was the trick.

Dee beat me to it. I was gonna post but got caught up with work stuff.

I doubt I can make it down but if a paypal for a flower fund or something was made i'd like to throw a little money into the pot for whatever.

I don't know Tony's aunts plans for services at this time. I will see what I can do when/if more information is available. If service details are made available I will definitely be sending an arrangement on behalf of the club as well as individually. I will make those details available to you guys if allowed. I won't be on again until late tomorrow or Friday, so Jay might possibly fill you in if he gets the information before me.

RIP Tony. :(

Nothing lol I'm just experimenting with etune but I need a cable to start. For about 2 weeks.

Also me trying to get all my planned mods done before I move to GB next month. I'm all about doing to much at one time.

I have one in the garage. You are welcome to use it if it works for you. I used it to install the tune set from Z1. I don't know if a license is required to be on the cable for you to use it, but the license is married to my old CPU. I sold the Z back in September '14.

i believe to data log you can use any cord but to actually tune anything you need the license. i could be wrong.

But let's be honest: 220-240 shouldn't be considered "hot". Unless you're driving a Z lol

For those wondering, Tony will not be having a traditional memorial service. We will, however, will be planning something big for him that I'm sure he would have loved. Stay tuned.

Hopefully it involves shiner, I've never had one, but for him, Im gonna give it a shot.

b1adesofcha0s 05-02-2015 05:41 PM

Some of you probably already know this, but I've decided that I'm going to sell my Z after ZDayZ. I will try to sell it with all the mods at first, but if that doesn't happen I will be parting out. Steve and Ron have first dibs for stuff and after that I will open it up to anyone else in MAZOC.

FPenvy 05-02-2015 08:00 PM

Steve in case I miss it when you post on the forum can you let me know on FB or I'll pm you my cell number. I don't have yours but if I can Id love to come down for whatever ends up happening.

m4a1mustang 05-02-2015 08:12 PM

Will do.

Fontana Fishing Report (30 April 2015)

Fontana: Very good bass activity. Smallmouth, largemouth and spotted bass are hitting live minnows, Berkeley Gulp Minnows, Lucky Craft Sexy Shad, No. 5 Shad-Rap and yellow Zoom floating worms in shallow water close to shore lines. Bass also are hitting spinner baits in areas where small streams enter the lake.

m4a1mustang 05-03-2015 09:29 AM

I was doing some reading on Fontana lake last night and am pretty excited. Looks like we might get some good LMB action. Smallies if we want to fish structure opening up to deep water.

Sscottfitz 05-03-2015 09:43 AM

My vote is we start with LMs & Smallies, but when that doesn't work we fish for what's biting...... Actually appears that there is a pretty good variety of fish in Fontana, more than I thought there'd be.

:iagree:

I was worried it'd be over-fished but it looks to be very healthy by all of the reports I read. There are so many branches and streams that we shouldn't have a problem finding some good LM spots. :excited:
