Tomorrow? Nah. My car is still in the body shop. I should have it back on Tuesday but will be avoiding highway driving for a while.

I think excessive stance looks terrible if they are driving around like that, but don't mind it if they are parked,it's for show, and they are on bags.

People got bitchy here the last time I went off on a rant about VIP/hellaflush BS so I try to leave it alone.

Seriously though, the first time I saw a car with wacky camber I assumed it was some sort of joke that I just didn't understand.

eastwest2300 10-03-2014 10:45 AM

People have different tastes.. I use to have this wing on my mitsubishi that I thought was badass, I got older and said..wtf, took it off, and thought wow.. the car looks better without it.. lol.

here's my thing, it's unsafe. plain and simple.

that much camber completely impairs traction based on only have a super small percentage contact patch. if you only have 20-30% of the tire touching the ground that is retarded.

also the tires being 4 sizes too skinny? jesus christ how dumb can they be. first off it looks awful and secondly they pop beads constantly. constant flat tire issues at speed with no tire contact to the road. seems logical for safety? yea all for you to look like a docuhe.

get em off the road and trailer them to shows. period.

So after all the talk, or in spite of it, having extra time on my hands this morning, I just finished plans to go to OC next week 9th - 12th for the fall cruise. Modified exhaust, but that's all. Go figure.

Yea that Vette was gorgeous it's 1200+hp. I think this is around where we usually meet in Columbia but I'm not sure. It was at Houlihan's? My first time there and the ribs were great.

It's right down the road from where we meet.

I must be crazy because I think the wheels on both of those Corvettes are hideous....

I'm also perplexed by the mods done. It looks like an OEM intake manifold with a direct port nitrous setup... But making 1200 HP? Seems sketchy. Also...giant track wing (nevermind the splitter up front) for what WOULD be a drag racing car...

Just seems like another high-power poser setup to be honest.

MightyBobo 10-06-2014 09:38 PM

That was easy to find. Too bad the mod list is completely missing...

The actual address was gateway overlook dr. Columbia. They aren't always there this was a bigger fall meet. Weekly meets Thursdays in Rockville. The next big meet is Sunday for the bridges cruise stickied up top.

Still no mods, other than a "supercharged Z06 motor" built by ECS, and some Kooks Headers (only because I noticed the vinyl on the back window).

I am going to go back and say that is probably a methanol kit versus a direct port nitrous setup, which makes more sense anyway.

That being said, I'm still waiting for the mod list lol.

here you go bobo, Lee actually does track his car, I think he's been to the drag strip maybe once or twice, but a road course several times. He's pretty involved with the community, and reppin' Loma and his other sponsors in anyway possible. He's actually a very nice humble dude, far from a poser or poser set up lol

MightyBobo 10-07-2014 08:31 PM

1200 crank HP sounds far more realistic than 1200 whp. Not sure who talks in crank HP anymore, but whatever.

Sounds like a nice guy, but going to the road course in that would be borderline dangerous if he's only an occasional racer lol

I've seen and heard this car in person before on a few occassions. It's freakin' stout to say the least. I think he's running an ECS blower which are certainly capable of making over 1K whp (I also believe he's got a built LSX long block if I remember correctly).

I saw the video. It's a built LSX block with an ECS blower and meth injection, which makes more sense. I don't know why they arent trumpeting the mods on that, because it sounds like a hell of a motor build. More concerned with the body kit/wheels I guess lol.
