Bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, E85 tune + pump gas re-tune, possibly a new clutch I dunno yet.
One of the kids in my neighborhood stopped to ask my girlfriend where it was yesterday. IF we stay on the 3rd revision of the schedule, I should have it back tomorrow morning. |

I have a detail day planned on Thursday so they'd damn well better have it back to me before then.

I dunno, the G's *** is really fat (it's a bigger car physically), while this one looks a lot more trim. Anyhoo, maybe I can borrow it to take you out on a date. :yum:

Have the 240Z running finally, working out a few bugs (such as the optical cam sensor cutting out) before I can take it down to VA Beach for a date with my tuner... Oh and I have to cut and weld the rear fenders (fronts are done) so I can lower it 2 inches or so... Have to change the cats in my 370. one is plugged from running rich the last few years... |

Almost done kids... Going for an alignment this week. Then off to see the tuning wizard on Saturday in VA Beach and maybe a DC region AutoX on Sunday...

I don't feel like searching for the spotted thread but I spotted a white 370 with some white wheels on 29S this morning. Car looked sharp!

Funny thing actually I ended up spotting a second Z later on the same day that was monty blue. I don't think I've ever had a random spotting of more than one 370 in one day before. Obviously this excludes our meets. Car is getting too mainstream haha :stirthepot: |

Hey guys, new Z owner here from fairfax. I'm wondering if anyone in the northern virginia area knows of a good shop to get my ark exhaust installed at?

Dyno run for the 240Z
Well have it back from the tuner...
Still have crap in the fuel system. My filter is clogging up pretty regularly... The first event was this past weekend. BSP (Bring Spare Parts) welcomed me in style. The first run was ok but the fuel filter was kind of clogged and would not get to 6K rpm. The second run was worse with it barely getting above 3K under load. Put it on the trailer and pulled the fuel filter and flushed it out. The third run was great, at least till I spun it. The forth run was where it all went wrong. The battery strap broke and the battery came loose. It came down on the starter on one side and the terminal block for the injectors/fuel pump on the other side. This caused the injector/fuel pump relay fuse to blow and killed the car. So I costed it back to grid and we popped the hood. cranked it a few times and noticed no fuel pump sounds... Took out the fuse and it was blown, changed it out for the fan relay fuse and it fired right up, and as it was my last run it went on the trailer... New 3 pound battery on the way as well as replacing a couple of the wires that got smooshed. And have to rewire the supply side of my AFR controller as the ignition seems to be kind of picky about where the key is in order for power to come to that circuit. So will put the trigger of a new relay on the same circuit that powers the ECU so the AFR will always be on when the ECU is on. They joys of building a race car... |

It really is only a half dozen bolts and some rubber hangers. A can of PB blaster for rusty bolts and some silicone spray for the rubber hangers, a couple of wrenches and a screw driver or two and bang you are a mechanic... |

Oh, and then you get PB Blaster/brake fluid/fuel all over your exposed wounds. |
Been there done that.
