That could be hard to do being that the threads have been pretty quiet for a while now, but you never know, you could always reach out to folks.

Yeah I think it may be better to just pick a date and see who can make it.

That sounds like a day. A Saturday at that. That would be good for me.

i would have to wait til a little close to the date to know for sure if i would make it.

I'm clear on that date, for now. Much farther into August, and we are dancing into a potential weekend where I'll be off enjoying my "Bachelor" party.

Only because the windshield washers squirters need aligning. Get too close, it'll soak em, alright...

jpkirk 06-16-2014 10:19 AM

See... this planning thing. If a date is set, it should fill your calendar right?

Come on, priorities ya know!

aniceh 06-16-2014 10:44 AM

I could do 8/2

wolfesquire 06-16-2014 12:07 PM

So I am moving to Salisbury, Maryland at the end of the month until August and was wondering if anyone in here knows the area. I heard it has a serious gang problem...which isn't good as my car is bright blue.

4r3s 06-16-2014 12:40 PM

I'll be out of the country...again...

I had no clue about Salisbury and gangs but a quick google search shows what you are talking about. I wouldn't worry about it though unless you aimlessly flash gang signs as you drive around to random people.

8/2 works for me

dmhenderson 06-16-2014 06:43 PM

So do we want a sign-up thread again?

b1adesofcha0s 06-16-2014 06:51 PM

Would probably help

dmhenderson 06-16-2014 07:01 PM

What are the campsite details? I forget the location/address/etc.

b1adesofcha0s 06-16-2014 10:01 PM

I'll have to go back to the old thread to find them. Will try to do that and then post up a new thread.

Thanks for digging that up. I know you didn't want to get stuck organizing, so let me know if there's anything I can do to help. :)

At this point, I think we just need people to show up, bring stuff, and maybe plan some activities. A cruise would be nice, but we would need someone who knows the roads there to lead it.

Is there enough room for activities?

i have a seto f cornhole boards however they dont really fit in a Z haha

Kirkster 06-18-2014 01:57 PM

Well the 240Z is just about done. Have one issue left to fix as the coils that I have for the coil on plug setup might need to be wired as LS2 coils instead of LS1 coils (everyone was telling me they were LS1 coils but the internet is convincing me otherwise). I am hoping I did not blow the coils up in the process of figuring this out but hey... Race Car...

I also have to finish the parking brake so I can get rid of my GM parking brake that I have been using.

It is nice to finally be able to see the light at the end of the 240Z build tunnel.

Now I have to change my cats on the 370Z as I am almost 100% sure that they are clogged from running the car a bit rich with the SC. I guess I will finally have to tackle the demon bolts. I am squirting them fairly frequently with Kroil to make sure I can get them loose...

dmhenderson 06-18-2014 02:14 PM

Solution: Don't run cats :)

How many noise violation tickets have you gotten so far? It was only 1 the last time I asked.

i have ZERO so far.

got hit with a "running a red light" couple weeks ago but i didnt do it so i fought it, went to court, schooled the cop, and got out of it. sat the whole time pulled over car running too and he never said a word about the sound lol

i had a small issue with a guy who lives along my route to work thinking i was speeding based on sound. he sat in his street runnin after me giving me the finger for a week. that saturday i was tired of it, pulled in his drive way, and set him straight. 2 hours later i came home to a case of corona and a bag of limes with his name, number, and appology. thats gangster :tiphat:

I can provide suggestions for anyone who wants to lead such a cruise. Shoot me a pm if interested. I have maps and experience there.

dmhenderson 06-18-2014 04:43 PM

I coulda sworn you said you got a ticket for the exhaust at the last Fairfax meet but maybe not.

Kirkster 06-18-2014 06:23 PM

cat/exhaust Meh... Just want to get it running right again so I can enjoy it. Plus it has AC which my truck does not at the moment (and for the last 6 years)... And the motorcycle definitely does not have AC when its 95° outside...
