Hard to tell here but you could probably put the 20mm back on, especially if you are running more camber than stock.

4r3s 01-06-2014 07:27 PM

D your boys better win this game! Can't let the sec have the last bcs title!

annnnnnd after all thats said and done, MY FSU Seminoles win the BCS title...

go FSU!!!!!:happydance::happydance::happydance:

eastwest2300 01-07-2014 09:57 AM

It was a heck of a game! Probably one of the best ever played.

4r3s 01-07-2014 12:10 PM

That was an incredible game! I'm annoyed Clemson didn't do it but I'm glad an ACC team stopped the SEC streak for National title.

so where does Jameis go from here? He's done everything you could possible do in college football. Is it time to go pro? does he go pro in football or baseball? Should be interesting to see what happens.

eastwest2300 01-07-2014 01:12 PM

Jameis can't go pro until next years, and if he's consistent and out does what he did this year, theres a good chance he could win the Heisman again.

Man, what a great game, i was REALLY nervous the first half, and I tell ya, that 30 day break is sooooo bad for football. I hate it.

b1adesofcha0s 01-07-2014 03:46 PM

I saw the last 4 mins of the game, which was apparently the best part. What 30 day break are you talking about Dee?

eastwest2300 01-07-2014 05:15 PM

From the division title game, to the BCS championship game, its almost 30 days.

b1adesofcha0s 01-07-2014 05:38 PM

Well you still have NFL games every week to get your football fix.

eastwest2300 01-08-2014 08:06 AM

I know that duuuude, but I'm worried about the 2 teams that are playing for the national title getting cold from the 30 day layoff. The NCAA needs to fix that damn sh1t.

Maybe that's what the new championship format will fix.

Not going to happen. They make big bucks having the games around New Years and that is not going to change. The only real solution would be to push the regular season back a bit. But hey, these are college kids, they deserve to spend the holidays with family not performing for the masses.

Its amazing how much rust can build up on a player/team in just a month.

Let me find the quote. It was a journalist.

Oh wait, sorry it was Andy Palmer. Nissan's executive VP:

Quote:

Nissan executive vice president Andy Palmer has hinted that a concept previewing the automaker’s next Z sports car will be presented at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show in November. Nissan is expected to introduce its new Z next year, as a 2015 model, so the timing makes sense.

Palmer made the suggestion during a recent interview with Auto Express. When asked about the new Z, the Nissan exec said, “Do I know what it looks like? Yes I do. Have I driven it? Yes I have. When will you see it? Come to Tokyo.”

Well he said come to Tokyo, not the Tokyo Auto Show..... :p

Nope.

The article said he hinted, not that he said it explicitly. His actual quote stopped at the word "Tokyo".

Ok well let's assume he's a realistic person. The only two shows he could have meant were the Tokyo auto show in late Nov or Salon which started 2 days ago.

Nissan is showcasing the GTR Nismo at Salon along the same concepts it showed in Tokyo and Detroit. No new Z model. The Datsun 210 revamp, some ~futurecar~ electric, and the new nismo trims (Sentra, ~Maxima revamp etc).

Unless your implication is that Nissan is just going to randomly unveil a new Z in Tokyo later on this year with no press coverage, that doesn't make sense. Considering that the Z34 was a massive failure financially, I doubt they're rushing another one out the door. There just isn't a market for a car that costs 10k more than the competition's comparable models - pricing it well out of the affordable range of people who would want a low-mid range sportscar. It's a car for enthusiasts who aren't interested in the fastest quarter time or "kill" videos taken by obnoxious teenagers but doesn't have the snob appeal of a Lotus or a low-end porsche. There just isn't a place for it.

Starting to order the rest of the suspension for the ST. Still need the Bilstein shocks and SPC camber arms. The F14s should be here within the next two weeks. Needs to warm up so we can get going!

Nope, that's still not what I meant. No Nissan offical came out and declared that "we guarantee that the 2015 Z will make it's debut at the Tokyo Auto Show 2013". His words certainly implied that it would probably be there, but it was no guarantee or obligation. I have no idea why they didn't show it there or when they plan on eventually revealing it. It probably wasn't ready in time so they decided to pull it from the show. Whenever it is ready, I'm sure they will make an announcement and it will probably leak even before that. This way they just didn't have to make any excuses about it not being at the show because they never officially said it would be there.

I think you're giving them too much credit. You don't say something like, "come to japan and see! The car is done and I've driven it!" unless you want to stir the media pot. Why say anything at all?

2015 Z? :icon08:

dmhenderson 01-09-2014 09:31 PM

Anyone want to buy Baer's old GTM stage 1.5 SC kit? Guy is selling it PLUS gauges for $5600 (that's about half of what it's worth).

Let me know if you're interested. The guy who bought it never installed it and is stuck with it because the racing circuit he runs banned it (lol).

dmhenderson 01-09-2014 09:41 PM

he's also probably willing to negotiate with you. He's kinda stuck and needs to unload the kit.

For reference, I paid a little over 11k for the same kit installed. If you've been looking to go FI, this is a great opportunity. Kit has less than 7k miles on it and belonged to Baer before this guy.

Oh and he's willing to ship. This is a crazy deal.

I'm not denying that he was trying to stir the pot, that much is obvious.
