This came about because I went over to check out my new office since we're moving after the holiday break. The building and lot were completely empty so I figured "why not".

So I live about 1.5 miles from my job currently. With the office move, I will be about .5 miles from work. I will literally be able to walk to work (lol).
Also anyone have any idea whether 275s will fit on the front nismo rims without rubbing (stock height)? |

Tires are at my house. Hopefully getting them all mounted tonight!

My office is probably moving in the spring from Columbia to Owings Mills :|

This is exceptionally funny because I used to live in the apartments right across the street from my current office. I moved down the road a bit...and the office is moving with me. |

Did a bit more testing with launching tonight. Took it up to 3000rpm with no one else around at half clutch and dropped it and the whole rear end went nutso. First it swung right and without me adjusting the wheel swung back left (tires squealing) and then it jumped forward enough to scare me a little - almost felt like it was going to go airborne. Managed to shift just under the redline laughing like a lunatic and 2nd-4th were normal. Did this 3-4x before I got the hang of it and now I need gas. Looks like 3000rpm is the sweet spot.
*this was in a parking lot not a public road |
Not sure why you are doing clutch drops. You're on street tires.
|
It's also cold, so if you're still on your summer tires you have little/no grip.

All of the traction showed up today. Performance all seasons for the snowburu and my S04s for the Z.

Drove back to Buffalo on all seasons in my Silverado during the storm on Saturday, in 2WD. Who needs snow rubber?
People in Alaska, I suppose... Sent from my Galaxy S3 |

a 10 second 1/4 is more impressive than I think most people realize. Takes quite a bit of work, power, parts, and practice. |

But not a whole lot to do in that car to get those kinds of times consistently. Kinda like a Ronco Rotisserie Oven. Just set it and forget it. |
GT-R is a beast.

The Z, though... yes 10s would be impressive. AFAIK the quickest 370 is running low 11s. |

Low 11's is pretty damn quick in a 370. Is that in a built 7AT? |
