I've been lurking for awhile but many people may know me as I've worked on a few Z's from the forum. My names Patrick btw.

I have many reason's for moving stuff. 1) Moving the battery is a nice mod, and it opens up a lot of space in the engine bay that is otherwise occupied. 2) I hate the location of the fuse box's. Like why nissan? You have to take the battery out to access most of them. 3) I really like clean engine bays. Not the overdone, "shaved everything and bondo'd" looking all fake. Just clean. 4) Other crap I'm moving for more space and avoiding heat soak and other factors. I'll leave some of the detail's out for pictures to fill you in. |

Z_Stig! That you posting that video on Jalopnik, for the TrackDay fail? Holy SH1T that was terrible! Besides the fact that his line was wretched and he was driving weak as hell, that stopping place was TERRIBLE!
*edit* For those wondering wtf I mean...

Yeah a shitty line I can always forgive (but in that car? Really?), but that red flag error is a SERIOUS problem.

This guy!
Yes exactly. The turbo is larger than your freaking head bro. It needs room lol. Here is the low down. S&R made theirs fit just fine in the same location with a slightly larger turbo. But I want to make it better. Moving everything REALLY cleans up the engine bay and de-clutters it and will give the turbo and exhaust piping and intercooler piping more breathing and cooling room. Also moving the engine coolant/power steering coolant tanks away from that will allow those components to perform under more regular temps. Unlike S&Rs kit where those two tanks sit pretty much right in the middle of everything. You'll hopefully see updates with pictures Thursday. Honestly guys...Pat and I were both very...intimidated taking this build on but now that we have **** apart and have the time to work and sketch and design it all its really coming together and honestly I'm really relaxed while working on this.
