Hmpf, I can honestly say I don't remember the traffic at that turn at all, when it happened. Your safest bet would have been to hang back however, and see how I dealt with the traffic, and try to take an alternate line.

Good for you :) Keep me posted if you have questions.

Thanks, man! I figure I can get a few cruises in over the summer and better learn where I'm the limiting factor in driving experiences, then have someone teach me to take it to the next level when it's a bit cooler out.

Yep I did a lot of passing there. T1 was a little difficult to setup with the little kink before the braking zone, but still doable. More often than not I would set people up by getting a killer run off 2 then making it no contest into 3. A good pass starts on corner exit :)

9 and 15 worked pretty well too.

Yes, getting a run off of T2 worked amazing well.

I was originally taking T3 verrrry wide, but I started to tighten it up a bit, and it saved me some time. T1 and T2, when I nailed it, felt so good. But I was usually a little off for T1 and that usually ruined my run out of T2.

They were there. That's what I was trying to do, but they were going slower in the turn than I (we'd) thought so when you slowed down, it was chain reaction.

NO NO NO! Do NOT learn your limits on cruises! Trust me. Save that for HPDE and AutoX!!

Also, I dunno if it was with Bobo, steve, or someone else, but about Replacement/Tinted Lenses for the helmets being expensive, this is what I meant:

Accessories | HJC MOTORSPORTS $70 for the smoked one for my helmet

Meh, wish I had my film from that damn run. It was a fun race, and I was looking forward to going back and forth with you. I honestly wondered what had happened after I never saw you again, and didnt know until I saw Jon's video. Ah well, for next time :-p

I know that feel. You kind of had to blow 1 to get the run off two down, but when you got it right it was bliss. There were a lot of "throw away" corners there which always makes it difficult. It's hard for a lot of people to conceptualize "throwing away" a corner.

I really want to go back ASAP because after coming back and studying the map some more I know what I need to do to improve even further, aside from just adding lightness.

Yeah, I was pissed we were in different groups, and your group (seemingly) didn't have much challenge for you. That's why when we got the last race, which I'm sorry,
having ran several events myself, is WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE, was stupid.

The top 5 from both groups idea would have fared much better, but I digress.

I look forward to going at it with you again. And doing some karting as well. :driving:

Ok. :)

This is why I keep you guys around. What would I do without you? :p

I've seen stuff on the HPDE, but not AutoX. Tell me more...

:iagree:

Driving on cruises and on a track are two completely different worlds.

A packed field is fun. I just wish we were closer on time so we could have had a huge group running together. 2-3 wide and passing every lap would have been a blast (if we could keep from wrecking.)
