Not at all. I remember years ago (around 2005 or so) in my almost-stock LS1 Camaro, when people ran up to my car once I ran a high 12 and how it was pretty quick. Ahhh, back when a low-300 HP V8 wasn't bad...

you should man.. the drag strip is a ton of fun. its a great way to learn shift points for your car. you can learn what rpm in what gear is best to shift at to maximise responce for the next gear... autocross is also tons of fun, u can learn breaking points for your car, what it can and can not do at different speeds threw different corners. it helps a lot when your having some fun doing spirited runs on back roads..

ah yes i remember those days.. if you could hit 12's u were the man.. i remeber people flipping out when my little miata with a zex kit on it ran 12.99. it was on my last run of the day too.. i was running consistant 13.1-13.2 all day long.. then i sat out for a few runs to let it cool down a bit.. the right before we left i did one last one and got a perfect launch and ran the 12.99. i was gitty...lol.. now tho so many cars can hit 12's it kinda crazy how far cars have come on the past few years..

Ever since seeing what they can do I have had a new respect for them. Truly amazing and cheap to mod.
This one is sitting at 190hp and 210tq. Just got a new manifold and turbo and VVT tuner and 3" exhaust. Should be around 250/250 mark. Then new rods and tranny hopefully before Carlisle for the 300/300 mark. ALLLLSSSSOOOOOOO Daddy got a new toy today...
