Try this: http://www.tva.com/river/recreation/camping.htm#fontana there was a campground at the base of the dam across the river from where we were taking pictures. I believe this to be the TVA campground

there was a campground at the base of the dam across the river from where we were taking pictures. I believe this to be the TVA campground at the link provided. Looks like $16.00 per night to pitch a tent.
