I just e-mailed the cruise briefing document to everyone. If you didn't receive it let me know (and pm me your e-mail address so I can make sure I have the right one) and I'll send it to you.

Dana and I stocked up on a bunch of stuff at Target. I have no idea how we fit it all in the S2000.

We are good on the following items:
Chips (we got 6 bags -- classic lays, lays bbq, sour cream & onion, cooler ranch doritos)
Bottled water (2 cases)
Paper Plates (124 Dixie sturdy)
Plastic Cups (~50 red solo)
144pc plastic utensil set
Paper napkins

Other stuff we got that you might want to get more of:

2 citronella candles
Matchlight charcoal (we got enough for our small grill but we'll need more for Jon's)
Bug spray

We also got two new chairs and will be bringing two extras.

if you guys want i can bring up some charcoal.

for one of my BBQ's i picked up the kroger brand charcoal, lighted easier, burned hotter and lasted 2x as long as the branded versions. was awesome and cheaper.

**** i almost forgot a chair again.

A bag of charcoal would be good. Better to have more than you need than not enough.

I checked the Accuweather hourly forecast for Tuesday. Looks like we'll be meeting up in the rain. We should get out of the rain somewhere between Harrisonburg and Christiansburg, and from there we should have pretty decent weather all the way to Fontana.

Fire 05-13-2012 04:35 PM

:shakes head: m4 I thought you knew better. Accuweather is an oxymoron. They should call it a blind guess with no guarantee. :bowrofl:

Just washed and detailed the Z -- "THERE WILL BE NO RAIN"......almost packed (at least the electronics) -- "THERE WILL BE NO RAIN".........

Sscottfitz Doesn't take long to pack when we have as small of a trunk as we do.

That is VERY true -- especially true when attempting to pack for two.....luckily this is our 3rd year, so we almost got it figured out......:icon17: Thanks mostly to Jay for taking the stuff I just couldn't fit.......

OBTW: "THERE WILL BE NO RAIN".....

I'm going to Carlisle with my father. We each take a small bag, 2 folding chairs, detail products in a bucket, and toiletries and that's about all the room we have. Oh cell phone, gps with home and car chargers, and a small camera.

Pat and I made the run up to Costco and bought all the steaks. Just need to pack up tomorrow after work. I'm with Steve, "There will be no rain". Hopefully.

Sounds about right -- soft sided bags are the key for us -- especially for stashing stuff behind the seats!.....AND friends with Maximas (a.k.a. "Stretch Z's........)
