Cell phones not allowed?:tup:

Ummm... why? We use two-way radios.

Anyways, this thread needs to stay closer to topic.

ROFLLLLLL :roflpuke2::roflpuke2::roflpuke2:

Its Mid-A we did not get 10K more posts than any other region by staying on topic!!!

Not everybody has two way radios, but everybody has cell phones. I guess two way radios are easier to use.

But some people have extras :tup:

Also with radios, it is easier to communicate with a group than with a cell phone.

I don't get your angle. This is VERY obvious to me: we use two-way radios because we can keep them on all the time. Everyone shares the same channel and the entire group can communicate with one another instantly. Using a cell phone wouldn't make any sense at all.

Regarding who owns a two-way or not: If you read the OP you'd know I suggested you get a two-way radio if you don't have one. And if you don't have one or for whatever reason can't get your hands on one, I am asking everyone who has spares to let me know how many they have so we can make sure everyone has a radio.

Roger that, sir!

:iagree: Definitely helps keep the entire group informed if someone gets held up at a red light or we need to make a fuel/food stop. Borrowed one of Steve's radios last year but thinking about buying my own off Amazon this year :tup:

I HIGHLY recommend you guys buy a set of your own radios if you don't have them. They are super useful and it's nice having your own so you don't have to worry about borrowing and returning.

For those of you guys that don't know, two-ways are a life-saver at the resort. They are the ONLY way to communicate across the resort as there is NO cell service!

And remember to turn your radio volume down when in the lobby at the lodge... Lance's vulgar radio transmission scared the children :icon17:

I bought a couple after last year. They are absolutely mandatory at the resort.
