it comes that way. it is adjustable - you can extend or retract it about 5 inches so it sits on your shoulder correctly

I had an M&P full size .45, sub compact M&P .40, Body Guard .38sp and .380auto. But I sold them to get my 1911 and M&P 15 oh and a Taurus TCP .380 that I just kept in my bathroom drawer next to the toilet haha. So I lowered my quantity but I wanted a 1911 and AR for a while and those two cost more then all the others combined so they had to go for the cause.
