Yeh, PSA is about the only place I buy ammo in quantity. UPS leaves it on my front step. The security of that is going to depend on where your front step is located, I guess. No problem here, but YMMV.

okay, probably not my last, but this gives me more than enough toys to play with. At least until the Gun Show in Feb :-)
Remington 700 CDL, .270 Caliber, with a 24" Barrel, a detachable magazine, and a Bushnell 4-12X40 Trophy DOA scope. Oh, and Steve - now I understand why you look to go cold weather shooting - the wildlife management areas are only open from sept 1 - april 1. And they at least have the 100 yd ranges. |
Bill, that rifle is nice.
Hey anyone know where you can shoot long guns (i.e. shotguns & AR 15s) around here for a decent price around the DC area? |

Humm. If we get four more years of the dunce in chief it just might be like having gold bullion left on your doorstep... |

I put my other StrikeFire on a Cantilever mount also.... I bet you I have the original high mount still in the box at home. I'm at work so I'll have to check later dude... But I think I have one ;) Where's the M&G this week, the G/F is off to Deleware I think with her Dad to go gambling LOL. Not my thing, so I may hit the meet this weekend (if it's MD) and get this mount to you. |

SWEET...DUDE...!!!
What were you saying about the rear sight (being on backwards), is it that far forward because you have fat fingers? LOL. Get yourself a BCM GunFighter Charging handle, they're awesome :tiphat: If you move the sight back, you'll have a longer sight radius, and better accuracy if you have to fall back on the iron sights. |
Get the BCM BCG while you're at it. ;)

I should have you look at it, and see what you recommend. Darren, can you post up a link on this charging handle, I may buy it. |

BCM Charging handle.
Bravo Company USA, Inc. AR-15, M16, M4 Tactical Gear, Parts, Accessories. I got the MOD 3 (large) version, much easier to use. I've heard people say if you carry the AR with a BCM handle strapped to your chest (2point sling), that the handle can dig in your chest, but I hadn't noticed the issue when I tried mine with a sling. FYI, I have the MissionSpec- Irene Adaptive Sling (IAS), it's sweet. It's a 2-point, and single-point sling ;) JoeBobOutfitters.com - IAS Sling |

Also, wait until you get your hand pinched by that sucker. A day of shooting will usually leave me with a few blood blisters on my support hand index finger. The newer versions have more of a bevel than the old versions, but I took matters into my own hands with about 10 seconds on a bench grinder and some alumablack. http://SSEquine.net/chargehandle.jpg http://SSEquine.net/NoveskeCH.jpg http://SSEquine.net/bcmch.jpg |
Yeah I've pinched the **** out of my finger with mine. I ought to file it down.
|
|
How do you like the PF9? I don't know why but it's just one that I want.
|
Quote:
The big advantage of that VLTOR handle is that the force from pulling it back doesn't all rest on the roll pin pivot, so it's almost impossible to break the thing. The disadvantage is that rather unfortunate (IMHO) pinch-point design flaw. It's one good reason to wear gloves. The strong-hand middle finger blister is the other reason. |

Hey Mac, I made that correction on my Magpul Sights, thanks for the heads up... and I found that BCM charging handle on eBay brand new for $50 shipping included... damn, its pricey!
