..these ammo hoarders are ruining my life !!!! :(

gunbot.com is great. There is also ammoseek.com

Another site to keep watch on is Luckygunner.com they will often get bulk ammo in.

I also just keep Cabellas on my browser. This morning I picked up a 525 round brick of Remington 22LR for 29.94 delivered. They had 9mm and .45ACP but that was at 6AM today.

First time posting a video from youtube, so I hope it works.

This video was taken of me at the Tarheel 3 Gun Challenge in North Carolina this past March. 3 gun competitions are kinda self-explanitory, in that you're using 3 guns (pistol, shotgun, and a semi-automatic rifle). The ones I'm using in this video are a Glock 34 (with more mods than my 370), a Mossberg 930 JM Pro series shotgun, and an ar-15 that I assembled for $600 (before the rush to buy firearms began in December of last year :shakes head:).

In the video, the plate rack is set up at 50 yards, then the long range steel targets were placed at 130 yds, 230 yds, and 300 yds (shot in that order).

This competition was my second 3 gun competition ever, and my third shooting competition. I placed 132nd of 271 competitors.

If you guys are gonna do a MAZOC day at the range, let me know and I'll bring some other gear.

Lots of nice weaponry in this thread btw...

That looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing and great shooting!

I can't say it enough, just be patient and wait for holiday season; people strapped for cash and will part with their ammo for bottom dollar. No point in buying ammo right now unless you're positively going to use it within the next 6 months.

And thank you for the complements on my shooting! It is very fun, but I use competition as training under stress. There's no stress quite like a timer.

**** is all over the place dude, OnTarget has it in stock almost all the time, and around $0.40-$0.45 a round. Limited quantities allowed.

ZCarMan 06-04-2013 07:44 PM

Prices may actually be starting to come down on firearms. Clyde's Armory has a Colt LE6920 M4 for $1149.00 and in stock.

High Rock Outfitters in PA has a Windham Weaponry Optics Ready Carbine. MODEL SRC 16" barrel, flash hider, 30 round mag, hard case. $775, plus $30.00 shipping to FFL of your choice.
