There were plenty of reviews on amazon, that being the reason I bought it.

Cabella's has .22 LR 36 Grain TCS (Viper) 100 Rounds for $6.99 (one box per order). Even with the shipping ($5.95) to MD that comes to .12 cents per round.

Picked up this last week. I bought one back when I was a teenager in Alaska and always wanted another one. Finally decided to pull the trigger. I still need to pick up a foregrip but otherwise looking forward to taking this out and plinking with it.

Sweet "assault weapon" ('cause it has a 25 rd mag and pistol grip) :icon17:

Nice looking plinker.

I had to drive up to PA to get the two BX-25 mags because you can't purchase or manufacture them in MD. What a Communist state.

Yea, I will never live in Maryland and I will try not to provide any of my money to the state by shopping up there. Feel free to move to VA.

The way the political winds are blowing Northern VA will eventually wind up like Maryland in the future. Its a plague. I'm headed much further south when the opportunity presents itself. The funny thing is that Maryland is known as "The Free State". :bowrofl:

Owe Malley. Whats in YOUR wallet?

But to stay on topic, a 10/22 is a must for any person who enjoys shooting. Its not too expensive compared to an AR platform and you can hang all kinds of furniture on the rails which makes it a lot of fun. And lastly, when you can find it, ammo is not as expensive.

Me and you southbound mate :tiphat:

I hear you on Northern VA, I just don't think the rest of the states population would allow it.

Thanks. Ruger 10/22s are a lot of fun. You can practice and not have to break the bank.

Well, if you plan on purchasing anything, now is the time. Come 1 October, the new law comes into effect. It doesn't impact those who already own firearms that will be banned, but does ban them for anyone who doesn't already own them after 1 October. They will have to jump through all kinds of extra hoops (fingerprints for handguns, license, training, only ten round mags etc.) and will never be able to own an AR-15 in MD.
