Hey Bill! - how have you been?

i have narrowed down to Colt i think - wondered if anyone had any specific experience with this one in particular - it seems kinda middle of the road

Randy all i know is, the 1911 is a big gun.. and it shoots big bullets.:icon17:

I love the Nighthawk on the range - happy with the feel of the gun, the recoil, the flip, the size, the weight... but i don't really want to go for a $3,000 version if i can find a very nice one otherwise :)

$3000 for a hand gun? ouch...

I wish I had a nighhawk, it sounds awesome.

Hell, I am putting all my money into guns and ammo.

I found 2 bricks of .22 in my ammo bin that I did not remember I had. It was like finding 200 bucks

Or a pound of gold! I only have about 2500  rounds of .22 left. I split a 5000 box with a neighbor when I was able to buy it for $ 220 shipped. Hard to find anymore. I heard the gun show was running scarce of .22 as well.

I love Colin Noir. He says it like it is.

Do you have C&R or Designated Collector from the Republic of Maryland? I just put my DC app in last week. Wait times are approximately 2 months for Designated Collector.

I see folks going on several weeks for regulated firearms purchases waiting for their background checks that are supposed to take only 7 days sad to say.

No I don't have a C&R or a DC...

Wait times are over 60 days now... I am on day 47 for my Euro pellet gun...

Must find M1A before October...

The DC is a one pager and costs nothing. I sent if off certified. Although I won't see it approved until June likely, that gives me three months to be able to buy as many as I want before 1 October.

Which M1A are you looking for? I'll keep my eyes peeled?

I am looking at a Fulton Armory one... But as August rolls around I will settle for a Sprinfield...
