Hi guys! I saw three of you on I-26 near the NC/TN state line today. (I think it was you guys anyway) A white convertible, silver Nismo, and a red coupe behind it. Looked AWESOME!!! They looked so good rolling by like that. You don't ever see 370's around here so I had to do a double-take!

I was one of the NC Troopers you saw. I had a black Impala stopped on I-26 near MM3 against the inside median barrier.

Cars looked GREAT!

I saw you or someone else sitting there. I was in a yellow Z about an hour behind those guys.

No guys, I wasn't pulling any 370's over! Haha! I never saw the yellow one, I hate I missed that! The three in a row looked like a darn Nissan commercial!

I was driving a beige unmarked Charger.

Beautiful drive across I-26 isn't it?

Yep, that's a great road and area! You are lucky to live there.

If anything I'd get pulled over for driving too slow. "Speed up, dude! That's a sports car!"

LOL Awesome! That was me in the red one! I believe you were walking back to your car from the Impala as we were approaching. If I knew you were a 370Z guy I'd have waved!

SscottFitz was driving the roadster and Hazzazi was in the Nismo.

You're right! I was walking back to my car when you guys came through and distracted me!

If I had known you guys were coming through I would have stopped the whole crowd just to mess with you!

Sounds like a fun trip, wish we could have had the our PG out to run with you.

Haha... that'd have been pretty funny if you stopped us all!

That part of 26 you were on sure is a tempting place to speed! You guys do a pretty good job keeping your roads in good shape! Say -- how fast was that Impala going?

Impala = 86 in a 60.

I'll admit, that portion of Interstate does make you want to speed. (It was 55MPH when they first opened it) But did you notice the dead deer on the shoulder down at the 9mm? That was the level portion just before you started up the first major grade.

We get some bad deer and bear wrecks up there. I'm not saying that's what set the speed limit, but man do we get some bad animal strikes. They called me for one on a Saturday morning near the 10mm, female bear and 3 cubs all killed! The interstate looked like a freakin' slaughter house for several hundred yards! Then there was the time the crotch-rocket and the deer collided..........

I can imagine the animal collisions would be bad! Especially with the amount of wilderness you guys have out there. VA mountains are nothing!

I was looking through some of the pics I was snapping as we were cruising down 26 and that Impala was in a few as he was passing us. I remember seeing him coming up quickly... I thought he was an unmarked cruiser until he made it by us... 86 in a 60 sounds just right!
