I'll be there sun-sun... If you guys don't mind can me and waifu join the pig roast? We'll contribute some monies to the pig!

btw I'm going to sign up via your waiver too so you know who we are! I said. Edit: on form it has Arriving Monday but really will be there from Sunday

I can't open that file at work, so I'll update that tonight. We look forward to seeing you guys.

We'll definitely have food at the cabin, even if we don't roast a pig. What we have done in the past is folks help out by bringing lunch items, ice and whatever else we need. We should also give some cash to the chefs to help offset the dinner cost for them.

I'll be adding some more items to the OP here to mention some items we need people to bring. There are stores within 30 minutes of the resort and some of us make "runs" to pick up whatever is necessary. Ice condiments, etc... So we don't need to worry about bringing everything on the first trip. Some items we do prefer to have from the start, and I'll address those in the OP above.

Things I am bringing for the MAZOC crew:
2 Camp chairs
1 Cooler
Dimmable rope lighting for the porch rails
Bottled water
Citronella candles (2 to start with)
Chips for lunch
Plastic shelves for storage in the cabin
ALCOHOL (whiskey and vodka, probably)
Hot Dogs and buns (anyone interested in "veggie dogs" if they make such a thing?)
4 walkie talkies

we won't be able to bring anything but we can definitely do a supply run or two to help out where we can.

Aniceh my gf and I can help you out Tuesday with the tacos prepping and such if you want some help. Just say the word

Thanks, man! I try to choose meals that are easy to make in quantity, but I may indeed need to leverage your help! I'm now vacillating between fish tacos and some vegetarian/fish Persian dishes. Will have to see how supplies and recipes shape up.

I am chillin with tigger on Tuesday too so i'll see if I can drag his sorry arse over too!

but if you do a Persian dish with Asian helpers... does that make it a ChiPer dish? I'm a fkin loser.

I am considering making baghali polow ba mahi (basmati rice with fava beans and dill, and pan-fried fish). Right now it's looking like I should plan to cook for close to 20 people, so I'll have to figure out if I can handle cooking it in that quantity.

Just cook as much as you can handle, if it's not enough we should have plenty of other food to supplement it.
