Thanks, man!

Well so upset but I can't make it tonight. Clutch screwed. Tried replacing the fluid and bleeding but still pedal was dropping to the floor. Damn it all to hell!

We're you just doing a fluid exchange or were you experiencing problems with CLUTCH prior ?

Issues prior. Fluid was filthy so was hoping a flush would help. Replaced the fluid with the R35 fluid per the TSB.

We're there any "particles" in fluid? Kind of look like black flakes or coffee grounds? If so it could be what I went through in May. CSC failure! It's a cheap part but requires removal of Exhaust, drive shaft & transmission. If it is CSC do not buy OEM CSC! It's junk. Buy a HD CSC from ZSpeed.com

replace your CSC & CMC together, and since your transmission will be open while you're doing that, you could always upgrade your clutch & flywheel... just a thought.

Jinx101 08-29-2015 02:19 PM

Yep. What I figured. Upgrading clutch and flywheel while I'm in there.

Yeah Joe. Fluid was really dirty...sludge-like almost. My cousin is an excellent mechanic and he will be doing the install.

I'd also replace the CMC too. Work smarter. Eastwest & myself had same replaced at AAM Competition .

Good that you have someone do install. Look at bright side! New CLUTCH kit, light weight Flywheel, HD CSC, new CMC, & you be right as rain!

My Z went through two OEM CSC's. Once with previous owner, who put in another OEM CSC, and then that one broke on me.

Im still trying to break in my clutch..:icon17:

b1adesofcha0s 08-29-2015 02:53 PM

That sucks man, hope you can get it fixed soon. If you're not busy dealing with the Z, you can bring another car if you have one or get a ride with a friend to dinner. I know some newer people might feel weird about bringing a non-Z car to a MAZOC meet, but I just want to put it out there that literally no one cares at all. Feel free to come hang out with us no matter what you ride.

The drive to GB and back should help somewhat. If not, there's always the drive to MI :icon17:
