2015 MAZOC Summer BBQ - Help Select The Date!
 

It's time to start planning the 2015 Summer BBQ. Please vote in the poll to help select the date. Choose all dates which you would be available to attend.

This is a Virginia year, but the location is yet to be determined. If you have any suggestions you can let me know in this thread. I was thinking about renting a Gazebo again like we did in Occoquan several years ago, but we can also venture a little farther out for some better locations.

Saturday is the only day. All Zs rest on Sunday.

July date is too close to the end of Ramadan for me, so August would be the safer choice.

I work weekends now, but I have floating holidays. I'm going to try and make it up. :ugh:

I wish I could float on the holidays.

Out of town earlier. Hope you can do August 8 or 15.

Anytime is good for me. About places, the only good place I know is the Triadelphia Reservoir, there's plenty of space and it is nice out there + fishing, also you have a nice view from the grilling place over the lake on the parking lot all the time :rofl2:

The lake is always an option! Although a bit far for MD, ask Aniceh..... but it's definitely the perfect venue and the invite is open!

I'm going to make the call by the end of this week.

Emily, thanks for the offer. You're right it is a bit far. I'm thinking of Shenandoah River State Park. They have some nice riverfront picnic areas with grills and good smallmouth fishing for those interested. :D

It's at 2 hrs 5 mins for me.

Sooo ... I'm thinking no ribs this year. Instead, how about pulled pork or brisket?
