Working really hard lately.

Mass company wide email came out today. 5-8s schedule for the entire site next week (normal is 4-10s). Guess why?

500 people (of 2000+) may get layoff notices on thursday/friday if Federal Gov't budget doesn't include funding for our project. They want everybody on site when they find out so you can get your notice-clean out your desk-turn in your badge-and hit the road jack. :eek:

P. S. This is kind of normal for govt contract work and workers.
That definitely sounds worse than my day. At least until we hear back from adjuster and body shop. Have some wine and kick your feet up missy!
