The King Richard Petty is a pretty cool guy to talk to as well. very polite and humble, called my house a couple years ago when his son kyle was still racing ( had a buddy that gets pit passes every race hes at and the drivers know him ) because he knew I was a fan of his. he left a message on our machine , unfortunately we weren't home when he called

Wow.......The King Richard Petty..........at Nascar races only seen
him from a distance but your right he would meet and greet anyone.
I have allot of respect for the King..The compay that I work is a
sponsor for Nascar as we supported the computer chips for the
on board computer systems from day one and still do..
