The wife and I were talking last night. She is interested in test driving a Juke Nismo for her next car

So I just got off the phone with one of the dealerships here in town and someone guy stole all of the Recaro seats out of their Jukes (4 cars total) and some 370Z rims one night earlier this week

So while they have one on the lot for us to test drive, they don't have the new seats installed yet. Maybe next weekend :driving:

DE and I teamed up to report a suspect in Round Rock a few months back. He found a deal for some of the newer, darker Nismo wheels and wanted me to inspect & ship them for him. The guy was flaky from the get go. He lived in south Austin but the wheels were in a "storage place" (someone's house) in Round Rock. DE had his name and was already told that this guy had been a suspect in the thefts. I called two dealerships to verify that the guy had been employed and was a suspect. Gave all the info I had to the service or parts (they opened the case) manager of the dealership who said he would pass it on to the PD.

But seeing as how I was never contacted back, maybe the manager is on it?

They caught the guy. He was a former customer. At least in this instance. That's what the sales guy on the phone told me.

im not a huge fan of the Z's e-brake handle as it looks like my G35C's one. for a near lux car, it looks great. for a sports car... kinda :ugh:

Something like this? :icon17:

If I'm not cool because I don't use a Mishmoto thermostat, then I don't want to be cool :ugh:

And why did he call you?

lol I have asked him to pick up local and ship to me before. He was totally willing but the sale fell through. So keep that in mind if you see a local-only sale near LA
